Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

CyprusAgain a minor detail and a rather a personal preference is that the bed has only one large duvet. We would have loved two separate duvets, perhaps this could be arranged? We did not ask, o really just a minor thing.
The room was spacious with a very nice bathroom. The walk in shower shower splashes a little into the bathroom, but this is a small detail. The brekafast was really good, fresh and a good selection and especially the menu for order.

NetherlandsWhy torture lobsters in a tank? Please stop animal cruelty and remove lobster from your menu! Breakfast was very tasty, but ordering takes quite some time, and items very small (ordering from the diverse and tasty eggs meny, gets you one egg; a sausage roll is actually a mini- sausage roll), which was not mentined in the menu so we had several rounds of ordering. Easy to state this, so we can order a full bf immediately.
The room was nice; big bath, very comfy bed. The hotel building is also beautiful with a lot of art in it. Too bad no art in the room. Breakfast was good; no buffet but great selection to order. Dinner in the restaurant also good but menu a bit hipster like everywhere else.
