The staircase was very narrow. Luckily we got help with large baggage.

Perfect location. Quiet area but easy to access town centre in 5-10 mins. Very comfortable and lovely to watch the craft passing by on canal. Breakfasts were lovely as well.

We were worried about the staircase and it proved not to be an issue. There is no elevator but the staff were so helpful.

We had been on a tour. After the tour, we moved from a busy part of Utrecht to the Hotel Museumkwartier, which is in a lovely quiet and walkable part of town. The hotel is in an old house and is furnished with antiques. Our suite was at the back and overlooked trees and church spires. Our friend's room was at the front and overlooked the canal. Just beautiful. We ordered their wonderful breakfast, which was brought to our suite up the spiral staircase every morning. Upon arrival and departure, the hotel staff cheerfully carried our luggage up and down the staircase, too. This was excellent as we had thrown our backs out just prior to the trip. Although the hotel is furnished with antiques the bathrooms are delightfully modern. Everything was so clean. It was nice to have a kitchen area. The hotel is one block over from a shopping street that has an excellent grocery store, restaurants, and shopping. It was an easy walk over to the museums and the Dom. There are lovely paths along the canals. There were bicycles but only a few at a time. There are a number of pedestrians and some cars and trucks. Very peaceful even though we arrived on the King's birthday! I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Two flights of very steep stairs. Significant parts of the hotel are under construction.

A lovely, large, airy and bright room, overlooking the canal. Spotlessly clean and beautifully made up every day. Delicious breakfast served ensuite. Charming and convenient location. Helpful staff.

Location was amazing, and the room had a great view of the canal downstairs. The hotel is situated in the Museum Quarter, which was quieter than the touristic center near the train station, but just as beautiful. You can also rent a bike for a reasonable price.

Lower part of the room was cold so it was bit unpleasant to sit there. Only applicable for winter and if you do not turn the heaters on in time :-)

Cosy and spacious attic room with a nice view of the church and the city. Attic sleeping space ideal for kids (if we have travelled with them)

the sound of the bell during the night, very steep stairs to the room. Those are not shortcomings of the hotel per se of course, I just wanted to indicate that those elements might be difficult for some guests.

the room very nicely decorated, the view over the canal, good beds, very nice breakfast brought to the room in the morning, possibility to prepare tea and coffee in the room with great choice of teas..

Great location on the canal in Museumkwartier in Utrecht. Room was large clean and comfortable with bath and shower. Coffee machine and small cooker was in the room to be self sufficient

Our only criticism was that the interior bathroom smelt of damp and drains. The staff tried to rectify it but it seemed to be an ongoing problem.

Loved the quiet location in the Museum Kwartier. The room was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent.

A beautiful room in an old Canal house. Bathroom was giant, and the room was very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent and delivered promptly on time.
