“This hotel is something special. Our room was spacious, comfortable and quiet, and the view was of mountains in the distance. An excellent information booklet on the area was in the room. Good bathroom too. There were cooking facilities, but we had booked a 3 course tasting menu for vegetarians. It was rather expensive at NOK 825 per person, but given it was the most delicious food we ate during our whole time in Norway, we're not complaining. There was soup with 3 types of bread for the starter. All tasted fantastic. A cabbage role main course was superb. Dessert was a brownie. Although my preference is for chewy brownies, this one tasted good. The cocktail with rhubarb was yum. Staff were lovely.”
