The downside of this property is that they do not have enough parking .This is the 4th time we have stayed here and the second time we have not been able to park on the motel grounds and near our unit -quite frustrating particularly when its wet and don't feel safe leaving our car on the road.

Liked everything about staying at the Camelot. From the amazing smiley face at the office to the apartment we stayed in. Have stayed many times before and always the same.

Room could do with a small makeover, darker curtains. Needed soap in the soap dispenser.

Large accomodation spacing in all areas. Outdoor cooking facilities excellent. Exceptional staff.

Best location right in the heart of Christchurch. Closer to CBD, New Brighton beach & all parks. Lovely big rooms with Heatpump & fan...

Decor is a bit dated.

We liked the large apartment with full kitchen. Also great location close to the city and the park. It was 31C when we were in Christchurch so we really appreciated the pool too.

The bathroom could've been cleaner. The rubbish bin in the bathroom was full on our arrival. There was a dirty sock by the couch in the living room. More attention to cleanliness would be good.

The motel complex had a lot of character.

The housekeeping and overall cleanliness of the rooms could be better. We had some old socks in our room which was not ours. And the showers smelled. Not sure if the curtains needed to be changed or what

The charm and character plays a big factor in this property. The gardens are immaculate and well maintained. The facilities outside of the rooms are exceptionally looked after

The pool area could be upgraded to meet safety standards

Great location and 15 to 20 minutes walk to Hadley Park/Botanical Garden.10mins walk to the nearest plaza called Merivale and McDonald too. Very spacious and great for Northland shopping Centre is less than 10 minutes drive away which has everything you need from countdown supermarket and many other Shops.Great plaza and very clean

No air conditioning upstairs which made it really warm. There was a free standing fan to use though.

Would have loved ceiling fans & screens on windows and doors. Although there weren’t many mozzies, one of us has an allergy so we need to keep doors closed. Without fans it gets pretty stuffy in the current heat. A few larger bowls for mixing would be good too.

The space in the rooms. The two bedroom was great. It was clean and tidy. There was just enough kitchen appliances to cook our own meals. The staff were super friendly and the amenities well stocked.

The age of the property showed a little in the bathrooms.

The rooms were large and had good kitchen facilities. Real coffee could be made with the plunger (French press) provided (although it was small). It is a little run down but very clean and lots of room in the dining area. Overall I would stay again.

No Complaints whatsoever but a couple of things would be handy if wanting to enhance : - a couple of hooks and maybe a shelf in the shower - the desert/cereal bowls were tiny unless you wanted a tiny breakfast - typical motel problem caused by guests - frypan was very distorted and would not sit flat on element - NONE OF THESE A BIG DEAL - just feedback for the operators - Thankyou for a great stay.

We loved the extremely quiet location ( especially at night ) - the fact that the unit was in a mostly shaded area so it remained a comfortable temperature all day - a nice swimming pool for a freshen up - great location handy to everything we wanted to see - plenty of good restaurants nearby.
