Everything was a bit run down and could use some renovation. Especially the pool. But we used it anyway and it was still great and the pool had beautiful views, esp. during sunset.

The property is terribly run down. Maintenance will need to be stepped up if they want to continue positioning themselves as a luxury resort.

The property though understaffed were manned by exceptional staff. Nikhil and Ajay ensured that we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The food was exemplary, the chef was amazing.

Manager and staffs were very friendly. Issues with maintenance. And property needs uplift most of facilities are old and depreciated. Ex. Pool, kids area, cycles etc.

Our expedition to the much-vaunted Dunes Resort was a comedy of errors wrapped in the guise of a vacation. With expectations set sky-high by glossy brochures and an alluring website, what we encountered was a masterclass in the art of disillusionment, peppered with moments of dark humor courtesy of the universe. Here's a rundown of the highlights (or lowlights, depending on your sense of humor): - Entrance & Ambiance: Our welcome was less red carpet and more red flag, with a gate that seemed to question its life choices and lighting that flickered like a morse code for "turn back now." - Check-In Extravaganza: Forget the traditional reception desk; we were greeted by a nomadic concierge with juice. It was as if we were checking into a Survivor episode, not a resort. - Room Chronicles: - The curtains were in a state of existential crisis, part hanging on for dear life, part surrendering to gravity. - Our TV boasted a grand total of three English channels: an endless loop of news, a channel devoted to making us experts on Indonesia, and anotheru ensuring we knew everything about Japan—except how to get there from our room. -Bathroom Waterworks: The shower offered a choose-your-own-adventure experience, mainly choosing between flooding the bathroom or performing an impromptu rain dance. - Amenities: - The golf course was more jungle safari than fairway, a thrilling challenge for those who like to putt amongst wildlife. - The pool, aspiring to be a beach, was partway there with its own sandy bottom and an exotic half-filled look. - Volleyball court or rock garden? Why choose when you can have both, ensuring every serve comes with a side of peril. - The Great Blackout: Our final evening featured an unexpected twist—a power outage. The flashlight provided for such emergencies was, naturally, as dead as our hopes for a flicker of luxury.

They are selling it as a luxury 5 star property but rates and website all depicting that but it is no longer what it once may have been. Considering the facilities, it is more a two star. Location and staff are 5 star! Nothing is in 5 star working order. Limited menu. Same menu on all three days with astronomical prices!

Staff and location. We were the only guests at the property so that made up a little for the fact that the pool did not work and no spa, no tv and practically no wifi!!!

I liked the place very much.

Unique place. I would stay longer to chill out if I could. Great swimming pool with an amazing view on sand hills. Great quality of rooms, very helpful staff!

disappointing to see the place not being maintained. the restaurant had a few dishes available only (very limited choices). the staff were very welcoming though

Peace and tranquility. Absolutely amazing property, however, got seriously decayed probably because of lack of tourists during the covid years. Just hope they will renovate it for the next season (the property will be closed during the summer months). Overall we had a very pleasant stay. The room was good. The food really exceeded our expectations. A perfect place to unplug and enjoy nature. Feel very important to mention that staff made amazing job, was very complaisant and attentive.

Quad bikes are noisy especially on nigh times

Unique Property, located near DXB express way, easy to reach. Food is tasty in the restaurant. Cycle Ride kept kids busy. staffs are very attentive. One can't say it's a Tent, look like a hotel room. Enjoyed Quad bike rides, having pool is an added advantage.

Location is awesome! Easy to reach. Staffs are so co-operative. We enjoyed Quad bike ride. Nice weather, spend long and late hours in restaurant area. Pool in the middle of the sand dunes is very unique concept. Rooms are spacious and well maintained.

There were no activities for kids and only 5 staff were working in the entire hotel. The food was not good and there was too much noise of cars and bikes from outside the hotel it was below our expectation given the money we paid. The pool water was very cold as well.

very bad service. no receptionist at all. the whole resort looks neglected. the Swiming pool weren’t clean and it looked like wasn’t maintained for so long.
