There is nothing we disliked about the property, but be aware, this is a modest in-home B&B and you should expect such. We would definitely stay again.

Our host, Martin, did an excellent job of communicating prior to our stay and also arranged a reasonable, first-rate, airport transfer. Our room was clean and bed was comfortable. Breakfast was well made and filling. The neighborhood is quiet. There’s also a nice park directly across from the B&B; highly recommended for an overnight near the airport.

Water pressure in the shower could be stronger, the pillows weren't so comfy (a bit lumpy), and we wished there were plugs for charging phones on both sides of the bed, but other than those little things, , everything was great for a quick overnight between flights.

The host, Martin, is so sweet. He had cake and tea waiting for us when we arrived from our flight into Lima at 11pm. Room and bathroom are a comfortable size and the bed was comfortable as well. Martin provided water bottles for drinking, and soap and shampoo for the shower. House has a locked gate. Safety was important to us as we understand that Lima isn't the safest city... Breakfast was ready exactly when we asked for it (before our continuing early morning flight) and prepared really nicely (see photo).

You could hear the aircraft's noise at night. At daytime you won't notice it very much.

The location is in a quiet and safe neighborhood and close to the airport. Martin is such a kind host who is always ready to help. He cooks a very delicious breakfast!👍

A small sign in the main entrance would be great to make sure we arrived to the place. Doubling the windows would reduce the noise of the aircraft landing/taking off

This place is fairly close to the airport, The noise of the airlines flying did not bother us. It wasn't that loud. Martin is a very attentive host - he is always ready to help. He walked with us to the ATM and also offered ice cream from his home, when we had mentioned we were looking for an ice cream place. He also provided suggestions for places for dinner. The room was fairly large. Wi-Fi was ok. The host has done some upgrades to the furniture and is working on more upgrades. The bathroom is ok, but felt water pressure in the shower was a bit less than I would have liked. Martin made an excellent breakfast with omelette, fruits, bread and tea. He is very prompt and also helped arranging a taxi to and from airport. He is also fun to talk to. It is about 20-25 mins from the historic center and also from Miraflores.

It was a safe, clean and welcoming place. The shower had three settings of hot water, and setting number one was warmer than any other showers I had had in Peru! It was so nice to have a shower that was actually warm. I also loved the wood floor instead of tile so walking around in the morning my feet were not freezing. I know these are, very minor details, but it sure made our stay the most comfortable place we stayed in Peru. I’d stay here again!

Nothing really. I note that some people pointed out that it wasn't very quiet, but you have to expect aircraft noise when you stay near an airport - this was not something that particularly bothered us. And we soon discovered that Peru IS a rather noisy country - people love loud music etc. From that point of view, this location was better than many. Someone else didn't like not having a key and having to be let in and out of the gate, but this is a private residence and we soon learnt that it's just the same routine in many smaller hotels as well. This is for security.

We stayed here one night when we arrived in Lima from Europe and again 2 nights a few weeks later before our flight home - proof that we were very satisfied with our stay. The B&B was conveniently near the airport and our host Martin arranged taxis back and forth for us - especially good when first arriving in Peru, tired and jetlagged! The guest areas were fairly basic and a little well-worn, but our room was spacious with a comfortable bed, a cool wooden floor and its own bathroom. It certainly lived up to our expectations and was good value. But what really made our stay a very positive experience was the exceptional help and attention from our host Martin. It was hot when we were there and thankfully we were given a fan to have beside the bed, Martin bought additional pillows for our second stay following a request, we were provided with plenty of fresh bottled water (such a welcoming gesture and something that cost extra in many hotels), and many other similar things. He showed us some local eateries on our first groggy evening and when we stayed second time round took us to the correct bus to get into the city centre - and told the guy in charge where we wanted to get off. This was an adventure the first time, but we soon got the hang of it. And breakfast was one of the best we had during our trip (we stayed in many different middle class hotels and some even finer ones). This B&B comes HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, especially for a few days/nights when travelling.
