My first shower there was kind of cold. It never reached a comfortable temperature even with only the hot water flowing. My husband didn't have the same issue a few hours later, and I had no issues the next morning, so I'm not sure what happened there.

The place is really beautiful and very well located. Spacious room with a very comfortable bed. Friendly and attentive staff.

Property location was only 5 minutes by foot to the Plaza de Armas, and only 5 minutes to Mercado San Pedro. Customer service was amazing, both front desk and at breakfast, and even facility was nice! The rooms are quiet, noise didn’t seem to travel too much.

The only gripe we had, was that on our arrival we were not greeted at the reception. The door was locked and we were left outside for 15 minutes, until the receptionist returned. She had popped away for the desk, and us being tired from travel may have worsened our mood. The receptionist quickly made up for her absence by offering welcome Pisco sours and an apology.

The room was spectacular. It was huge, with two large beds and a modern, clean bathroom. There was an upper floor with a fridge and seating area which we made use of, too. The style of the hotel was fascinating, definitely boutique. The decor of the room was rustic and homely, and the rooms themselves are set around balconies overlooking an inner courtyard. There was a wide range of options for breakfast, including freshly cooked eggs and bacon. There were fruit juices, and hot drinks also available. Room service was also exceptional, as they delivered to the room, and the food was delicious, not to mention great value. We had the chicken wings and chips, which were a starter, but were sized like a main portion! Staff were friendly and accommodating, and delivered excellent customer service. They looked after some items we left with them while we hiked the Inca Trail, and ensured we would get the same room on our return (even though we hadn't booked with them for the duration of the hike). The hotel is located about 8 mins walk from the Plaza de Armas, surrounded by a wide choice of restaurants and bars. All of the tourist attractions are within walking distance.

We did not have hot water in the bathroom, so taking a shower was not a pleasant experience as it gets cold at night in Cusco. Also location is a bit far from main plaza area (Plaza de Armas), so we had very limited options for dinner as our train arrived late in the night from MachhuPichhu Pueblo.

What a lovely accommodation, very nice decor and design, well maintained. We had a free upgrade to junior suite. The TV had paid sports channel which made our stay even better. They also allowed us late check-out (with $15 charge) which was really helpful. There are really nice seating areas inside with free tea facilities. They also arranged airport transport for us for only 10soles, which was really cheap. There is also free luggage storage facility. Breakfast is superb, many options, eggs made to order, one of the best capuccino/latte we had during our entire stay in Peru.

I would recommend requesting a room on the second floor because we had guests above that kept us up with the noise from returning late and leaving early for tours. No other rooms were available for us to switch.

We really liked the location and the charm of this hotel. It was close enough to the main square but far enough away to be peaceful and tranquil. Staff were very helpful and friendly!

we booked this as a post Inca Trail/ anniversary treat and it was worth every penny. the best place we have ever stayed. the staff were so attentive and friendly and the breakfast was amazing! the rooms were incredible and the shower and pressure was superb! always hot. we loved it here so much we extended our stay

I loved my short stay here. The hotel itself looks gorgeous. The room was big, comfortable, very quiet and nicely decorated. The breakfast was served in a beautiful room. Not too many choices, but it was tasty and the staff very attentive. The reception ladies were very welcoming and ready to help. Something I consider very important would be that the room is heated. A great place to stay while in Cusco!

Just wish they had more vegan options for breakfast specially in warm section there is nothing (one day they made a guacamole though that was the best I ever had !!!)

This hotel is a gem ! Its quiet, the staff and more than helpful (they help me print stuff, store my luggage , and they even bought me almond milk for my coffee since I'm vegan). It's a bit of a short walk from the main square but easily do able and no issue even at night. The rooms are nice, enough warmth !

This hotel was super amazing. We spent 3 nights in a deluxe room which was huge & very beautiful..The staff were so helpful & were happy to store our luggage when we went off to Machu Picchu. Breakfast was phenomenal & the young man Christian was happy to give us more coffee. The staff were so very helpful. Plus the hotel is near the centre of Cusco. Hoping to return again.

Our stay at Tambo del Arriero was JUST MAGNIFICENT! The breakfrast was by FAR the best in our whole holiday (best cappuccino freshly made, as well as fresh eggs as wished and each day fresh fruit and far more). Furthermore we did the INKA TRAIL in between and the Hotel offered us to let our luggage there (even for free) and when we arrived back completely exhausted from the 4 days hike our luggage was already in our new room. Best Service! When we departed to the Bus station on our last day the hotel also got us the best and nicest taxi driver in town with a really good price, thanks again for this too! I also want to mention the wonderful flowers which are around the whole hotel, really beautifully done!
