The room we ordered with 2 beds was not the one we got, so we had to wait a long time for the room we reserved. There was a problem between the description with what I booked and with what we got. The biggest problem was the advice we received on going to the market; they told us to take a taxi, but neglected to tell us that we would have to wait for hours on the street to get a taxi back. Apparently this is common knowledge amongst locals. Fortunately a local felt bad for us and knew we would have to wait hours for a cab after the market closed and gave us a ride back to the hotel. He said the motel should have told us that. Also I did not like that I requested a shuttle months before our trip;was told we could get a shuttle from the ferry to the motel. I had corresponded several times. In the end, they did not make our shuttle reservation like they said they would, and waited to the very last day to make the reservation. Then they waited until the day we arrived to tell us there was no shuttle service from the ferry. They did not give adequate directions on how to get a taxi to the motel. So we ended up waiting a very long time since we did not know how to get a taxi.

The staff were very friendly. The room was very clean, the property was nice, the beds were comfortable.

Everything was great only one complaint I would have was the greeting and attitude of one lady in your restaurant. She was not friendly at all . At first I thought she was having a bad day but rudeness extended into the next day also. Only ate at your facility two times.

I could not honor the two nights I has reserved after the cruise as I contacted covid and was sent into isolation by the Oceania cruise line. Anoter place. When I called the Royal Tahitien to cancel I was dold that only hotel.com can do it. So I might have gotten stuck with a 400 dollar bill !! Can you help ?The

When we first got there we were pointed toward our room and dragged our luggage across the grounds - not sure if there was no cart available or we just should have asked. The room was musty and humid and we were honestly not too impressed! HOWEVER, once that A/C kicked in everything was fine. Room had some upgrades, floors/wall and bathroom but was a little tired. Bed was awesomely comfortable. Only 2 towels, no hand towels or washcloths (again not important enough to call and request them). All in all we were happy with our stay!

We very much appreciated the restaurant on-site and the wonderful staff there. Both evenings there was live music and during the day it was nice to enjoy their oceanside location. We had an 11 am check out but the front desk held our luggage while we stayed on the property until we had a van pick us up about 5:30 pm. Much better than hours in the airport. The Grounds were SO Pretty. The Front Desk staff was Super accomodating as well.

We were very surprised to find a maintenance man fixing a towel rail in our bathroom when we arrived. We were going to go back to reception but he convinced us to stay, which was rather uncomfortable. Then he left, leaving the towel rail dangling. A while later two other staff came to look at his work. Then he came back again and installed the towel rail using a loud drill. All of this was spread out over an hour or so. No apology or compensation was offered. Also the air con was very inefficient and never succeeded in cooling the room much despite us leaving it set on 16 degrees for the entirety of our stay. It dripped water on my shoes which i left underneath it. There were very few powerpoints. We had to unplug the lights to use them.

The nicest thing about this property is the hotel restaurant, which is open air with a lovely view of the ocean. Also enjoyed the great food there. We also appreciated that there was a staff member present at 5.30am (despite reception not opening until 6.30am) to make sure we caught our taxi to the airport.

I’m giving this a five star review in the context of this being a three star hotel but is really bordering on being a four star. It’s in amazing location with plenty of car parking space, in fact you can park in front of your apartments and has everything you need for a nice stay in a well priced (relatively as everything in Tahiti is expensive) resort with a restaurant, bar, swimming pool and exclusive access to a beach (which is a one minute walk from here). The staff were helpful and the best thing was that this is only a 30 minute walk to the centre of Papeete and there are various buses on the main road. I would recommend!

The beach was dirty . The beach was about 5 ft wide . There was no good way to get to beach . The gates where locked and if you wanted to get to the beach you had to go to the front desk or walk off the hotel grounds. There where no options in area to eat.

Really minor- we arrived after dark and when looking for our place, it was hard to see the numbers on the door. (Had to stop the car and run up to the door to see). I didn’t ask for ground floor and should have. No elevator.

We stayed one night before taking the ferry to Moorea. The location was perfect, staff incredibly welcoming, room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. I asked for and received 3 rooms near each other for our party of 8.

The hotel was a bit further out of Papeete than I thought and food quite expensive.

The grounds were wonderful and so was the swimming pool. I loved eating breakfast over looking the beach, superb views. The receptionist was very helpful when I arrived and arranged all taxis and airport transfers as requested

No designated path through gardens to pool or reception or restaurant. Wifi not working despite telling reception. Surrounding landscaping was over grown and totally unkempt. Restaurant messed up order, language clearly a barrier. Shower didn't work and plug was worn and kept popping out of bath plug hole. Hotel as a whole is tired and badly in need of cleaning up with grounds overgrown with lawns and weeds. Pictures on booking.com were not reflective of what we saw

No hot water when showering. Didn’t matter if hot tap was on full. The hotel is old and needs a decent refurbishment plus wifi is terrible in the rooms unless you sit outside. The beach is black sand so too hot to walk on during the day.

Pool was great to use and the restaurant staff were super accommodating and helpful. Food was really good there. The room was comfortable and daily cleaning was amazing.

The check in was like it didnt matter if we came or not, not all staff but there were a few at out night meal which i thought were quite rude. Sitting in an outside, lovely sea view they decided to close down the shades, was a tad windy not cold but they did not like the fact I asked for it to say open while we had our meal. Having to wait for plates to be re filled at the breakfast buffet was not nice, happened each day, We had a couple of dead chickens outside our door area, about 12 metres away the rooster didnt seem to mind lol but after a couple of days them still being there I was getting rather annoyed.

The pool was great, our room was really nice too really clean and spacious. The tuna 5 ways was my mans best meal he had on the Island he said.
