We were with a teenager, so we chose a 3-person room. It was meant for people with mobility impairments in our opinion. Therefore, the toilet and shower were adapted for the disabled people, which is very inconvenient for tall people. It would be good if travelers are informed about this in advance. Otherwise everything was ok.

Nothing much to complain about. The rooms only had single beds and the beds and bedding were pretty basic. That being said, the Hotel is priced correctly and doesn't claim to be anything more that what it is; somewhere to get some sleep on your journey. I am content.

I stayed at Hotel Picaro as an overnight stop as part of a long drive from Poland to the UK. All I was looking for was somewhere clean, safe and close to the autostrada (motorway) where I could get some rest before I continued on my journey. Hotel Picaro ticked all of these boxes and at a very good rate.

This is a roadside hotel, i did not know that at booking. If you are going towards Germany you need to make 14 km extra distance in the morning because the turning point of the highway is 7 km away. Food was average at best.

Pet peeve: no power in the room unless you insert your key card in the slot (and this is a particularly nasty device which can’t be fooled with any old piece of plastic but makes sure it is really a key card). The holder for the shower head was broken and would not stay up on its own. Wi-Fi signal on the upper floor at the far ends of the building is weak.

Close to the motorway, great for an overnight stop on a long trip. Good breakfast.

Noise isolation in the rooms is very poor. If your neighbor gets up and leaves in the morning an hour before you - believe me, you will hear it well! They also once gave as a complement a bon for coffee on the road. Now everyone refuses to give it under any pretext. And in a restaurant, even if you have it, they will find an excuse that it is not valid. )

Location is very handy. Rooms and facilities are good enough to stay for a night.

I arrived at 22:40 and there was noone at reception, needed to call hotel number for someone to checkin me. Checkin took me ages, i mean it took about 15 minutes for lady to provide me the key and accept my payment. She was just doing something at her computer, not sure what.. . Room was outdated and very basic. I moved two single beds together, so after moving it i found complete mess on a carpet.

Price was good and hotel is located directly on a highway, so for those traveling no need to go far away.
