A very characterful hotel reflecting its heritage, fabulous staircase, beautiful stained glass and what a room used for the excellent buffet breakfast, large, light and full of period charm, loved the white Steinway grand piano. Only stayed one night but would definitely come again. Very good value.

Very central ,spacious hotel with many traditional features .Clean rooms with shower over the bath .Good breakfast . If you stay here take train to nearby Torun too .

Room could have done with some updates - blinds were dated and not great condition. Lighting in room also not ideal, with only lamps.

Fantastic location in central Bydgoszcz- within walking distance of cathedral, opera, the main town square. Breakfast was exceptionally good- quality and range. A beautiful old building - corridors and staircase worth visiting in their own right! The room was comfortable, well equipped, and good internet.

Very nice antique hotel has lots of history as it was established on the 19th century, there is a nice sauna in the hotel as well of a small gym, the breakfast was definitely good and the location was nice as it was 5 minutes away by walking to the main square.

The hotel could use some improvements on the rooms but really nothing to complain.

The sauna was amazing it really got super hot which is what you want from a sauna, the restaurant and breakfast was really nice and the staff was really helpful as well. great value for the price and great location as it is only minutes away from the centre by walking with plenty of shops around.

My room looked poorly kept and old in a bad way. Not 4* level.

Hotel looks old in a good way and pretty aristocratic. Inside one can really feel the vibe of the 18-19th century.

This hotel has a soul. The building is absolutely gorgeous, the stairs are like in a palace. The rooms are very comfy and clean. I absolutely loved my short stay there and I will gladly be back. What a great place to stay in Bydgoszcz!

It was without question my most luxurious stay in a long time. The Historic interiors, still original from before the wars, the super soft beds, and the staff were all super friendly

The room wasn't good. Granted I'm a solo traveller but the room I was allocated was tiny and the bed was so small and uncomfortable. The shower leaked out and flooded the bathroom every single time and even started flowing out into the room. This wasn't fixed and I wasn't able to get a different room. The hotel overall 8 or 9/10, the room unfortunately was a 3.5/10. Better than most hotels in Bydgoszcz however after a few days I did check out to book a full private apartment for 10 days which was better and cheaper than the hotel.

The shower and the shower curtain could stand improvement. The pillows can be changed to memory foam, it’s nọt comfortable.

I like best the rustic ambiance of the hotel, not looking very modern. The location is superb and the staff were professional and friendly.

Rooms and facilities could use a little refreshment, everything is working well but just feels a bit old fashioned.

Entering the hall is like time travel back to 19th century. Just for this experience it’s worth staying there. Staircase is so beautiful that I wasn’t using the elevator at all. Rooms are clean and nicely decorated but rather simple. Service extremely polite and professional. Hotel is situated in the very center of the city, max 5 min walk to the old town. There’s also plenty of shops, restaurants coffees etc within few minutes walk so the location is rather perfect.
