“The location is spellbinding. High above the terraces, incredibly quiet and tranquil, with fabulous views. Very friendly and accommodating staff - nothing too much trouble. Food on site is lovely and wines are good too! Rooms are very spacious and comfortable. The wine tasting provided was excellent. It doesn't have the range of food, drinks and facilities that full service hotels offer - it is more simple and authentic, but makes up for it with comfort, peace, quiet and the beauty of the location. Its an authentic, high quality Duoro valley experience.”
