I loved everything about this property! The rooms were cosy and with a special vibe, it felt luxurious. Amazing breakfast also. And very friendly staff. The backyard was specially cute and relax to hang out.

The restaurant was not open for dinner, which was a shame as we would have loved to try it.

The room was beautiful, spacious, airy, comfortable and very quiet. The breakfast was a real treat, served in the beautiful dining room with fresh fruit salad and pastries, and eggs cooked to order.

A little more surface space so everything is not on the floor.

The location is within walking distance of many things (the funicular to the river front is an easy 5-7 minute walk). The breakfast was substantial and tasty. Our room was tastefully decorated, but with the exception of the bathroom counter there was not any 'surface' area to put items on. The beautiful marble table top was to precious to put our suitcases on so all our bags were sprawled on the floor. For a few days, the room was otherwise perfect and the staff were lovely.

The location wasn't quite as we expected and I personally think a bath would have been a better use of the available bathroom space rather than a double shower!

Breakfast set us up for the days exploring Porto. The orange juice was welcome and the coffee good and hot. Everything we needed was provided and beautifully presented.

The staff is cordial but quite cold. Except for the 1 day we met the owner who was lovely. Close to the city center but on top of a hill so walking back is not the easiest.

Just one minor thing; the water closet in our room doesn't have a sink!

Hotel is beautiful and comfortable. The decoration is very good with characteristic. Staffs were very good and helpful. Breakfast is delicious.

It was a bit hard to find and the entrance to the garage is very narrow. But these are little things! The staff was very accommodating in assisting with both.

The property was absolutely beautiful! Every detail of this boutique hotel was thoroughly thought through. Quite French in style and very chic. The breakfast in the morning was great! We really enjoyed our stay here as a couple. The windows are beautiful, the suites are stylish and the staff is very nice! The cellars are just across the bridge and the hotel is pretty centrally located but on a quieter residential street.

I loved EVERYTHING about my stay here - I only wish I could have stayed longer! The room was BEAUTIFUL, spacious, and clean. I loved the decor, the molding, the layout the attention to every detail. Breakfast was delicious! And the presentation was fabulous. Marrion (I believe was her name)helped us check-in and spent time chatting with us, answering questions, and getting to know us. I will go back.

The room was delightful with its use of long, light, yellow drapes. Loved the roomy shower. The neighborhood is nothing special but the location is excellent within walking distance of both the historic district and the town center. Breakfast in the morning is outstanding. But what really stands out is the helpfulness and kindness of the staff. They sorted out all our problems and gave great recommendations for places to eat and visit. If you visit go to Rio's Tapas Bar next door - the best. And there was a place to park our car!

We absolutely loved this hotel - beautifully done rooms and amazing french/ portugese interiors. The stay was very comfortable with all basic facilities in the room. The breakfast was lovely and set in their chic bar downstairs. Also, the location made it very easy to commute within the city center, most places were walking distance from the hotel.

The only negative is that you need the key to lock the door when you are IN the room. With only 1 key, this meant that if one of us wanted to go out, they either had to lock the other in the room (not safe!) or be locked out. A second key would have solved this, or even better a way to lock the door from the inside without a key.

The location is not as scenic as some, but is a quick walk to many wonderful spots in Porto. The breakfast was lovely and the room was bright, clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We appreciated them supplying utensils, plates and a corkscrew when we wanted to do takeaway one evening.

Beautiful property and spotlessly clean. Everyone was very helpful with bookings and recommendations and Marianne suggested a wonderful Port tasting. Room was very comfortable with high ceilings and double shower.
