Mini market way over priced, we request 2 cots, 1 of them smelt really musty/moldy, food in the restaurant/bar beside village was not great, all frozen stuff even seafood, unless you where ordering salad I don't think any thing was freshly cooked, pool bar food was nicer..

The mini market on site is very expensive. It feels like tourist are being exploited. There is a larger supermarket about 1.5km away that we went to instead.

It was a really lovely spot for families with so much for the kids to do. There is a great selection of pools and playgrounds for younger kids. It is clean and everything is very well maintained. Our apartment had everything we needed and was spotless. Our was very spacious & the kids had loads of space to run around. The staff are very pleasant. The beach close by is beautiful. I had a lovely family holiday here & will be back.

Only fault I can think of is that a few times I hung the sign on our apartment door in the morning requiring a clean and came back to apartment late afternoon and it wasn’t done. Only twice in the week we had our towels changed and beds made. Other than that I was very happy with Alfagar!

The food in restaurants was delicious. Staff very friendly and attentive. Whole resort was spotlessly clean. They have everything you need here that you wouldn’t have to leave if you didn’t want to.

They put us in a apartment that had an a pathway lamp that was right up on next to the front of the balcony and shone right in the living area and was not very pleasant blocking the ocean view. The front desk seemed to try to minimize the matter, though we were allowed to move, it would have been very inconvenient. We specifically asked for a good ocean view and good WiFi. The apartment was a bit off to the side of the ocean, but still nice. The WiFi was very bad and I could not conduct my work meeting properly most times and then had to use my phone.

The air conditioner in the rooms were not functioning at all. The maintenance staff were called to help multiple times. The community washer and dryer area took only cash/coins not credit card. Further the dryer was not working so we had to dry out clothes in the balcony.

Very spacious rooms, with good amount of pillows, sheets towels etc. Bathrooms were nicely maintained too. Main sitting area and the balcony was very nice. Friendly staff also. The breakfast buffet was sufficient, though we got a bit bored by the same fare by the 5th day, however it is very tasty! The many pools made it easy to access and kids had a great time.

The price was a bit expensive for a 1 week stay. 2 years ago the price was twice lower.

Perfect place to stay for a working trip. The food is really delicious and staff is always very professional and friendly. Location is also perfect, only 10 min walk from the beach. The hotel has huge territory with many swimming pools and lots of green spaces. It is perfect for family with kids.

- extremely old sofa on which we had to sleep. It was difficult to open/close and was extremely uncomfortable. The whole apartment was really ok except that awful sofa - there was no net in the windows and we were living on the ground floor so we were afraid to keep windows opened during night (somebody could have opened them easily or some small animals could have entered..). So since they were closed , it was pretty hot

It is very well kept and immaculately clean. There are plenty to do for all the family with various pools, quiet and busy depending in what you prefer. Rooms are spacious and clean. Shop on site does groceries, good selection as well. This is our 2nd time visiting in a year, and would go back again.

Honestly the ONLY really bad thing about this place was VERY loud music coming from the bar until very late everyday. First we got the room just next to the restaurant and it was a terrible experience - luckily there was no problem with changing the room where the music was not such an issue.

Whole premises is absolutely amazing! Looking better than in the pictures, everything is very well kept, love the gardens and pools! We had great time at many facilities! Prime location just by the beautiful beach! Stuff was helpful and friendly, super nice good energy. Rooms were alright, maybe a bit outdated. I can fully recommend it! And I'm extremely happy to pick this place! It's a perfect location , you can walk through the scenic route by the clifs to Albufeira or Praia da Falésia!

Great place to stay in the Algarve. My 1-bedroom apartment was very nice, comfy bed, fitted wardrobes, nice (but small) kitchen, nice living/dining area, and a balcony overlooking one of the pools. The Wi-Fi had recently been upgraded so was super fast. There are several on-site pools and plenty of sunbeds. There is a small onsite shop and car rental shop, a nice all-weather football pitch, a small gym, an indoor swimming pool, and direct access to one of the many beaches along the coast. If you're after some night-life then Albufeira town is only a short distance away. Would highly recommend this as a nice place to stay!

Cold outdoor swimming pools. One of them could be heated, which would be ideal.

This is an excellent hotel for adults and families with children. The location is perfect, with access to a beautiful beach. The rooms have everything you need, only pots and pans stick so they are unsuitable for long cooking. The great advantages are the plants and the outdoor covered swimming pool, although I must admit that if one of the outdoor swimming pools were heated, the hotel would meet all expectations. It's too hot in a covered pool, and standing waiting for the kids is hard. A heated outdoor pool would be ideal. Besides, it's my place on earth. I highly recommend

Lots of steps around the resort, which is not ideal with a pram. We often commented it may be hard for someone with mobility issues. The walk back from the beach is very steep. The kids park could also do with a bit of a clean.

Really family friendly, loads of lovely pools (heated and unheated/outdoor and indoor) restaurants, mini market on site. Short walk to a really beautiful beach. Apartments are big and clean. All staff were friendly and helpful. You could spend your whole holiday on the resort if you wanted, but Albufiera is a short taxi away. Hotel even offers transfers with kids car seats.
