I liked everything. The bed was extremely comfortable and the bedding was cosy, fresh and warm. There was a beautiful bottle of port left for me in the room as well as bottled water. I was welcomed by the owner and helped to my room with my bag. It was clean and perfectly located.

The room was very clean and cozy. There was more than enough towels in the bathroom which was pretty convenient. The owner was very friendly and welcoming. She agreed for our check-in a few hours before the official time.

It was a pity that there were no hangers to put the wet towels on the toilet room.

The host was a constant source of sympathy, helping us find the property, getting parking nearby the accommodation, and also advising us on the best places to visit in Sintra. The room was clean, cozy, and comfortable, and we had the right to a little treat (a Porto wine bottle). Everything was impeccable. Lastly, the location of the room is perfect; it's a 2-minute walk to Sintra National Palace, a less than 10-minute walk to Quinta da Regaleira, and it is a 2-3 minute walk to bus stops that allow you to arrive at the many attractions in Sintra (Palácio de Monserrate was gorgeous).

It didn't worry us but there are stairs up to the room on the 1st floor so if you had heavy bags it may take some effort.

Great location right in the heart of Sintra - we had a tiny car and were able to find parking without a problem and moved to right outside the villa later in the day once a spot cleared. Could walk to the attractions we were interested in (although for most it would probably be preferable to take transport up to the Pena Palace to be honest - Santa is hilly!). the hostess was really lovely and easy to communicate with, we loved the welcome bottle of Port and the ease to walk to places for meals

No complaints about the room, but Sintra gets very quite after 7pm when all the day trippers leave. We could only find 1 restaurant still open after that time.

All good - good sized room, easy to find. The en-suite was roomy and the room was in a great location. We were met at the property and shown the facilities and handed the keys.

Not the hotel's fault, of course, but just beware - parking anywhere near the hotel is a nightmare during the day. You're best going to the bigger carparks down by the train station, then shifting your car later at night to near the hotel after all the tourists and workers have gone home. We got a street park right across the road from the room but it's tight and the one way street down from the hotel is not for the faint of heart - narrow like all the mediaeval centres.

Amazing location. 100m from the Palacio National and right in the historic centre. Friendly, helpful staff. Impeccably clean and comfortable room. Awesome.

This was the perfect place to stay in Sintra! Quiet, clean, and very friendly owner. The room is the perfect size, has a nice big bathroom and they were so kind to leave a bottle of port to sample. It was steps away from great restaurants and bakeries, and walking distance from many of the palaces and parks.

The location cannot be better, downtown Sintra. From here Regaleira Palace is about 10 minutes walking and the 434 bus station for Pena Palace is just about 15 minutes away. Our host was attentive and helpful and not only was the room perfectly clean, but it was beautifully organized as well. We found out that Porto Wine is amazing for sleeping tight.

The staf allowed us to have a late check-in, which was great! The room was clean and quiet. The location is top choice, from there you have easy acces to all of Sintra. Also, we had nearby two great eating choices-Fabrica da Nata and Romaria da Boca.

Everything - very nice and warm welcome by host, facilities, room was pefectly clean, we were offered complimental water and small bottle of port wine, large towels available, very comfortable bed. Five stars aren’t enough.

In the shower there is no shelf for soap and the hook is broken to hang the shower and the water would flow from above and not hold it in your hand ,after conversation with owner he told that I broken shower instead of apologize

Located a stone's throw from a large construction site, there was loud construction noise happening early one morning through the whole day. My window opened directly to the construction. That's the main view out the window. Construction can happen at any time. Also, there's a smell of mildew throughout the building.
