The staff at Chalet d'Avila are extremely friendly and helpful, creating a great collegial atmosphere . The guest house is very well run and in a great location near a metro station.

Very friendly staff, great breakfast and comfy beds! The big plus is staff present 24/7 even for a late check-in, and I could store my luggage for free for a couple of hours after me check-out

Wooden Floors: The wooden floors throughout the hotel could amplify noise from neighboring rooms, but the staff were prompt in addressing any disturbances.

Convenient Location: The hotel's proximity to the metro station made exploring the city hassle-free. Additionally, its short distance from the airport was a major plus point for us. Delightful Breakfast and Snacks: The included breakfast was delicious, and having snacks and coffee available throughout the day was a nice touch. Clean Rooms and Washrooms: The cleanliness of the rooms and washrooms was impeccable, ensuring a comfortable stay. Friendly Staff: The staff members were exceptionally friendly and always ready to assist with any queries or requests. Shared bathrooms were quite a long way from my room (7) and what happened in the bathrooms (4) could be clearly heard by the rooms surrounding! All be activities in the building could be heard due to wooden staircase, doorbell and the need for corridor movement too and from bathrooms

The bathroom was located down the hall and chair by all guess, it can be a little noisy. House is good for a short stay.

Good location for quick overnight in Lisbon and easy to get to via the metro from the airport. There is a kitchen which guest can use, which is very nice. Lots of restaurants in the area.

Nothing! Everything was perfect.

Breakfast was fantastic! The nicest and most attentive staff! One of the front desk guys recommended an amazing local place to eat. My room was comfortable and spacious, perfect for my layover in Lisbon. There was a wardrobe, side tables, some water, and hooks to hang things (the little things count!). Wifi is good and strong, and there was a heater in the room for the chilly night. Plenty of bathrooms mean no waiting in the morning or evening. I especially enjoyed the little reading room on each floor and the balcony with tables. The guesthouse is located a little far from the main touristy area but a quick metro ride away if that's what you're looking for. Also, just a 15 minute metro ride from the airport! I enjoyed walking around the local neighborhoods and checking out the parks. 10/10 recommend and would stay here again!

Nothing, I would come back again!

It was the cleanest hostel/hotel I've ever stayed at. Well done! The location was great, next to the subway, and there are lots of restaurants around. The room was comfy, and breakfast was delicious. The staff was also helpful. It wasn't a problem that bathrooms were shared; they were very clean.

Excellent staff: receptionists ( they know everything and navigate you in the correct direction), housekeepers ( these ladies keep hotel and shared bathrooms in perfect condition), morning breakfast staff amazing..

This place is beautiful! Set in an old house on various levels, the hotel presents a series of beautiful rooms and (many) shared bathrooms per floor. Our level even included a small kitchen and a living room. The place was clean, the staff was very nice, the breakfast was perfect. A hidden gem! We will be back.

Maybe a little bit too pricey for this location, but I guess it’s still value for money considering crazy Lisbon prices.

Very nice location, away from all the crowds in the center, but still pretty close to all the attractions, close to the airport. Big, comfy and clean rooms. Basic breakfast but was enough to keep us full until lunch time;) The shared bathrooms were also very ok, we never had problem with availability, as there are 2 bathrooms + a toilet for 5 rooms on each floor.

I spent one night there: in principle, it was quiet, but sometimes you could hear the rattling of the doors of the shared bathrooms.

The hotel is located in the city center. There are many cafes, bars, shops, and transport stops nearby. My room was on the first floor: it was very cozy, clean and stylish. The bathroom was shared: there are about 3 of them on the first floor (I don’t remember exactly). The breakfast there is delicious: a wide selection of drinks and food, everything is tasty and clean. The staff allowed us to leave our luggage after checkout and return for it in the evening. It was very nice)

It has the perfect location coming and going to the airport. The People are very friendly and helpful. It was raining the last day we where here and we could hang out at the hotel and had some coffee, while we were waiting till it was time to go to the airport. The room was beautiful and very clean. The shared bathroom was no problem at all, cause they have two bathrooms at each floor available and you only share them with the rooms on the same floor. The breakfast option wasn't big, but totally enough for the price and to get the day started right. They store the luggage for you, if needed as well.

The staff was super friendly and helpful. They helped me with my suitcase to the second floor, answered all my questions and help me with everything, check in was super easy. The room and the whole guest house was very clean, the breakfast good. I can only recommend and will be back for sure!

The amount of stairs to carry the luggage up. The tub shower needs higher barrier so you don't spray water all over the floor. Only one cotton mat per day, it's quite soggy by the time I got to take a shower... at 6am in the morning!

Location close to airport, metro and restaurants. Comfortable single bed. Breakfast included.
