Breakfast was very tasty but the choice of food was modest. We would have appreciated larger quantities of food on offer and more variety. However, the food (fruits, ham, cheese) was fresh and there was no limit to how much we ate.

The accommodation at Chalet D'Ávila Guest House was very pleasant. We liked the helpfulness of the staff as their reception was open 24 hours. The bed in our room was very nice, comfortable and big. The room was nice, historic, spacious with high ceilings. We stayed on the 1st floor in the hallway which was quiet. The shared bathrooms were large and amazingly clean, there were multiple bathrooms so it never happened that they were all occupied. We also liked the balcony that we had in the room.

Even thoguh I had to share a bathroom with other guests, it was really clean and comfortable, the only inconvenience being that I had to leave my room. Otherwise, it was just as if it was my own.

Great stay at Chalet D’Avila - better than expected. The rooms are bright with sunlight, soaring ceilings and impeccably clean and spacious. It’s the first time I’ve booked shared bathrooms in a long time but it was surprisingly OK. The bathrooms are kept spotlessly clean, there were three bathrooms on our floor so one always available. Reasonable breakfast included The only drawback is the location is not the center of Lisbon’s sights. But easy to walk into town

Specious, clean rooms and good breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff! Located very close to the metro station form airport, and it was no problem to late night check in. We thoroughty enjoyed our stay here!

It’s a bit far from the “touristy” parts of Lisbon, but an easy transit ride away (not really walking distance).

The hotel is extremely close to the metro and the breakfast was really nice. Room was comfortable and there were three shared bathrooms on our floor (never had to wait) which were all clean.

Bring ear plugs if you want to lie in, because everyone seems to get up at 7am on the dot 😂

All of the staff here were absolutely lovely and very helpful, giving us maps and personal recommendations. The breakfast options were plentiful and it was all delicious and the bed was comfy and had the best pillows ❤️ the building is beautiful, and everything has a nice feel about it. The room was spacious and nicely decorated, and had everything we needed. It's a 1 minute walk to the nearest metro station so zooming around Lisbon is a piece of cake. Get the day pass for unlimited travel on the metro, teams, funiculars and buses- totally worth it. We would definitely stay here again and recommend to everyone!

We love staying at the Chalet D’Avila. We always find the staff so helpful and the rooms are very comfortable and clean. That breakfast are 5 star! It is also super convenient with the Metro being so close. We highly recommend staying at this Guest House.

The only thing was the noise in the kitchen at 4 am. I know it is intolerance of the other accommodated guest, not a mistake of the hotel. But maybe a paper on the kitchen door would help. Otherwise it is wonderful stay.
