If I have to complain about something, the middle bedroom shower drain did not work well, it drained too slow. There was an odor in the house at times from a smelly drain or toilet. Only minor problems overall.

Such a view! Loved the view, loved the patio space, kitchen worked well, we enjoyed the refreshing pool on a hot day. It was so nice having bread and pastries every day, although we couldn't eat nearly that much. Very friendly, helpful staff. Would gladly stay again.

Everything was fantastic. The view, the terrace, the pool and sunbathing area. The games room. There was a mixup with the owner who didn’t understand English. Thought we were arriving the next day in error. So getting in was not a good experience. Communication thru booking at a phone number that was wrong. Views exceptional. Porch exceptional. If driving it very high up steep hill

The place was old and cold. The heaters did a decent job heating but there were limited number of them. It rained most of our stay so we didn’t get much chance to use the balcony

It was very close to the major town of Pinhão. The owners were very responsive and flexible. The scenery was absolutely beautiful.

It is a bit of a hike up the hill but without being up high there would be no view . Taxis we found to be quite difficult , when we were in Pinhão there were taxis but no taxi drivers . It was low season and very and very quiet , much of the town was closed and if it was open it probably closed at 20:00

This place is wonderful and one of the best views you could ever want while in the Douro Valley. We walked to multiple wineries while here and enjoyed every second. I highly recommend booking this beautiful Quinta! The host left us pastries and bread that were delicious!

We could have used replacement towels since it was raining throughout our stay, some of the lightbulbs were missing, the property seems like it could use an upgrade for the price charged.

The location is very central to Pinhao and the nearby quintas. The terrace would be great for a sunny day. The kitchen was well-equipped for our needs.

This house was incredible - Beatiful, comfortable and well equipped with incredible views over the Douro valley from both inside the house and from the beautiful terrace. The hosts were very helpful and kind, driving us to and from the train station and leaving delicious pastries by the door each morning. There was a games room with pool table, ping pong, flooze ball and more. Very highly recommended!

The view is awesome, but it’s at the top of a nice hill. Heckuva climb from the city streets below, but well worth it!

The view of the river valley is fantastic! Pedro and family are super hosts, even prepared a white port/tonic welcome drink! Tasty!

It’s not that we didn’t like it but I would highly recommend getting a car.

The pictures do not do this place justice! It is absolutely Beautiful!! The host was amazing! She greeted us and showed us around the home! The home is very well appointed with everything you would need! We cooked Many meals at the home as it was so nice to sit outside and enjoy and meal and a glass of wine .

In our unit, and only in our unit, there was a major leak in the bathroom (half the floor) from the shower … this was dangerous, especially in the middle of the night when we rose to go to the bathroom and it was annoying to have to often use towels to mop up the floor. There was also a septic odor in the bathroom. Furthermore, there was a leak from the ceiling in the bedroom during a big rainfall which impeded our sleep on the last night. We put buckets. The hosts told us that they were aware of these problems and that repairs would be undertaken during the off-season. We do not doubt this in the slightest. However, we feel that they should have warned us. We were actually able to deal with these issues, but for the price, these issues are not to be expected. We would have appreciated a credit of some sort since we were there for 3 nights and that disappointed us.

Very spacious and comfortable, excellent furniture, beautiful view, excellent location, discreet hosts, peaceful. Those expecting a quinta experience should be forwarned that this is not a quinta, it is really a guesthouse, albeit a beautiful one, very well furnished with excellent views.

the beds were nice but very firm mattresses. the view was amazing but just know it’s a steep walk to town.

very nice hosts, spacious apartment with huge terrace, clean. parking was tight but expected given you’re basically in a hilltop town. parking is steps from the apartments. the hosts also brought us bread and pastries which was very nice of them.
