We came to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary (we stayed at vila gale with all our guests for our wedding 10 years ago) I tried on numerous occasions to contact the hotel via email explaining we were coming back in the hope of getting some kind of special occasion treatment. But with no reply from the hotel. So it didn't feel quite as special as it could have. I also felt the bar staff could do with some extra training in service and customer service, the pool bar and the way its run was chaotic. And the fashion bar always took so long to be served.

The breakfast was great. And the staff in massa fina, were so helpful in providing takeaways even when they were being flooded on Monday 12th Sept.

The twin bed situation. The mattresses were extremely firm. Property is a bit of a walk to main town, but Ubers and cabs were cheap, although you often had to wait 10-15 minutes or so to get one. The lunch buffet was not great and expensive at 20E not including drinks.

Excellent location less than 5 minute walk to gorgeous beach. Very good hot breakfast buffet including made to order omelets. The resort is large, huge pool, and is very well kept.

Pool bar lacked organisation, the food wasn’t great and the amount of food on the plate was just very little for a meal (just enough for a child - as an example, a ridiculous small amount of fries with a burguer or a hot dog that was less than the meat)… and the price for drinks was high. A second low point was the amount of noise in the bedroom from people closing doors, or walking on a flight of stairs… every night we could hear the AC from an adjacent room switching on and off.

Nice location, good facilities, great for the kids (the kids club was very good).

The front desk offered no sympathy when the room was not ready at check in time (15h). The room was finally ready at 17h and despite us patiently waiting, the front desk manager was extremely rude to us.

service at reception was super slow. I tried to contact them many times and never has anyone pick up. the isolation in the hotel is not good at all. we can hear people talking all the time.

Breakfast and dinner was pretty good. lots of choices and well managed. The pool is the best in the hotel. Nice layout and beautiful. we enjoyed indoor pool and sunna as well. The entertainment was amazing! they have all day different activities for kids and adults. we loved water gym!

Service a little slow at reception desk as new staff were being trained in. Perhaps the training could take place a little sooner as this is busy holiday time.

There were ants in the room, so any food was immediately covered in them. The rooms are tidy, but the housekeepers sometimes comes quite late, even after lunch. Breakfast could be more varied as the menu did not change throughout the week.

The environment is perfectly arranged, the pool is really big to accommodate everyone who wants to. It's good that the breakfast starts early. We are very grateful for the attention and gifts that the hotel gave us on the occasion of my wife's anniversary. It was really unexpected and very pleasant.

The hotel decoration felt very off considering that the location is a beach destination. Everything was super dark. The walls were very thin we woke up every morning at 8 am with a family upstairs screaming.

The breakfast was pretty good. The bed was comfortable.

The night buffet should include drinks, wine is extra and 2 buffet meals then end up being expensive at the end. Not sure why the wine is extra? Sometimes it can be hard to get the waiter's attention at night to get drinks even when not busy. Another thing that is surprising is that tap water is not available anywhere but at the reception. You should be offering tap water in the restaurant (had to keep buying bottles) like you do at reception in the nice dispenser. Also, we got charged a few euros to buy a swimming cap, surely those should be provided for free to guests who go to the spa. Also, given that we have been a few times, we should really be enrolled in a loyalty card automatically vs having to ask for it.

I like the setting in general, the hotel looks very nice an posh. Staff is super friendly and drinks aren't too expensive. Buffet is great in general and I like the new Italian restaurant by the pool. I appreciate the fact that we can have food by the pool on the sun loungers. Overall amazing hotel! We have been five or 6 times and we will be back. WIFI everywhere :-) The pool closes at 8am so no need to rush, you can enjoy it all day. Tourists very well behaving and not "reserving" sun loungers, plenty of them for everyone. Swimming pool looks amazing! Close to town centre, taxis are cheap!

The rooms are a bit old and dark and the food is not the greatest. I would not come here on my own, but the kids loved it so much that it was worth it all for me.

This is the best hotel to come to with kids as the staff in the kids club are absolutely amazing and really made our stay perfect. Also, the slides and park are wonderful for kids, they had a blast.

We didn’t use the bar as the music was too loud. It was more like a nightclub than a bar. The lifts and halls get extremely hot during certain times of the day. If you got stuck in a lift you’d soon pass out or worse. A side entrance to the free car park would be convenient. Having to prebook the half empty restaurants during the low season is ridiculous. It’s actually easier and quicker to go across the road to the harbour of beach front restaurants. All staff need to be made aware of where the gluten free food it kept and make sure there is access to it. Furthermore, the Italian restaurant could stock gluten free pasta and spaghetti. It doesn’t spoil fast and would allow them to accommodate more customers. The TV automatically turns on when you enter the room. It’s a waste of energy.

It is in an area of Lagos that we prefer. Quick access to the beach. The tap at the entrance from the beach is useful for washing your feet. The pool bar is convenient and not too expensive. The spa treatments, staff and gym were great, however the indoor pool and jacuzzi were in an area that was too hot for us. The buffet hall was large enough to accommodate the guests . The entrance was in a good location and spacious. It was clean and well laid out.

not much information about hotel or surrounding areas outside we had to find out information from other guests about the train that takes you to the old town which was so good for getting about . also fashion bar close during the day so you can’t watch any sports or anywhere else .
