“We loved our stay at Birds and Breakfast! It felt like staying at your Costa Rican family friend's place - familiar, comfortable and not touristy / commercial. We booked a night walk tour with our host and loved it - he was so knowledgeable and showed us two sloths with their babies, red eyed tree frogs and many more animals that we wouldn't have been able to see on our own. Breakfast at this B&B was also spectacular - homemade breakfast everyday with a view of the many birds flying into the garden was something we'll remember. We even saw toucans from the garden! Location-wise, we debated staying in La Fortuna vs. here but I'm so glad we stayed here instead. La Fortuna is extremely touristy, commercial and stressful. This location is right next to the Eternal children's rainforest, which is equally great for hiking and wildlife but much less crowded than the alternatives near La Fortuna and very calm.”

“The view from our room was just amazing!!!! Do not hesitate to book here if you’re looking for a place more in the nature and not full of tourists. You wake up to the birds. The room was huge, very well equipped. Ask the reception for the taxi drivers number Adan. He was great too! The food in ghettos restaurant is delicious.”
