“The location is amazing, and our tiny cabin had wonderful views of the lake. Wonderful to fall asleep to the sound of the wind and the waves. Food in the restaurant was basic but good, and the atmosphere was very friendly and comfortable. A great place to order a bottle of wine and play a board game. We had a wonderful stay at Chalenko. We used the toaster oven in the cabin to heat up left-over pizza from the restaurant which worked out great. We also appreciated the tea pot and coffee available in the tiny cabin.”
“I had a wonderful time in Puyuhuapi and a lovely stay at Wanderlust. The location of the cabanas just outside of the village meant you felt the wild and remote frontier nature of Aysen whilst at the accommodation, but could walk 10 minutes to have a meal by the bay, buy fresh bread or stock up at the supermarket (and also take the bus to Coiyhaique). The random Copec Service Station was a highlight! I had a particularly rainy couple of days when i was there so did not go to Queulat National Park as I had planned, but that day that instead i spent in the cabin relaxing as the rain peltered overlooking the fjord, was one of the best of my trip!”
“Very friendly and helpful staff. Good bed, warm shower. Bright and clean room (ours had no window). Good location, at walking distance from the central plaza and supermarkets. Free parking on site but you have to mention that you have your own car.
Very basic breakfast (scrambled egg, cheese, ham, yoghurt, cereals) but will help you through the morning. Strong wifi. Overall good value.”
“The young hosts are awesome. Very nice and very helpful. In for a chat and trying their best to make your stay comfortable. Good locatie also on the central plaza of Mañihuales. We had the appartment in the back, there are no reviews about that one yet. It's huge! And we were only with the two of us :-) But it's old. Bed and shower were good. Our breakfast was very basic (warm bread and scrambled egg only), but it will help you through a couple of hours and the coffee was the best in our trip so far (french press). We have seen no restaurant activity at all.”
