  • Amaru Inca Review score: 10

“The staff were awesome, very helpful. The location was the best and the view was beautiful. The plants in the courtyard attracted birds, such as humming birds, and it was fun to watch the wildlife as much as the view of the city. There was coca tea and filtered water for the guests in the courtyard which provided extra comfort. The breakfast was very healthy including fresh fruit and juice and the breakfast room was overlooking the city. All in all, Amaru Inca is a great place to stay.”

“Super lovely hosts, beautiful little enclosed courtyard, and the coca tea she leaves out for you 🥹”

  • “Wow what a magical 3 nights we experienced! The Gardens are extraordinary!! Lesley and staff were wonderful. Beds cosy and comfortable and the showers hot and flowing. View and location absolutely gorgeous. Away from the hustle of cusco, nestled in the mountains. A little out of our budget, but we are sooo grateful we stayed anyway because it was one of the highlights of our trip. The doggies were a welcomed bonus. Pacho my favourite 🥰 We will be forever grateful for lesley and her essence for being the place we landed when we arrived in peru. Such a blessing 🙌”

  • Cusco Bed and Breakfast Review score: 8

“This was my second stay at Cusco B&B. Manual and Mari were wonderful hosts, and I felt very safe as a solo female traveler as they really looked after me. They take great pride in their B&B and everything is very clean and nothing is too much trouble to arrange. Mari is an excellent cook and breakfasts were wonderful. I would have liked to have been able to speak with them more, but my Spanish isn't good. Nevertheless, we made do with Google Translate. They were excellent at providing local insights on where to go and what to do... and what not to do. They also have a small tour company, which I only realized later. If you plan to do some local tours then you can ask them to arrange this for you as well.”

  • Casa de Oren Review score: 10

“Casa de Oren is a beautiful oasis. It was the perfect place to rest and relax after spending a few days trekking and touring the sacred valley. Mabel and Nigel are so kind. Their place is a little bit out of the way, so Mabel picked us up from Pisac town when we arrived. She also drove us to the Pisac ruins on the day we were leaving, and met us in town later with our bags. We did the walk through the ruins to the Pisac town, which was lovely. Our room was spacious and very nice. Meals were also great. They have a wood burning hot tub, which was really nice to sit in under the stars. They have their own water and septic system, which means you can flush toilet paper and also run your toothbrush under the tap - a nice perk! They provide complementary drinking water and have some essentials that you can buy if you forgot anything. They have everything you need there, so no need to worry about not being in town. I highly recommend staying here to anyone who is visiting the Sacred Valley. It is a wonderful spot, owned by wonderful people.”

  • El Albergue Ollantaytambo Review score: 10

“Beautiful location at the train station (although it's a 5-10 minute uphill to the main town square). Hotel is absolutely beautiful with gardens all over your walk to your room. The room was very spacious, very clean, bathrooms were modernized, and bed was super comfy. Breakfast was excellent.”

“Very comfortable stay. Clean, spacious room. Victorio was a great host! Lovely house and dogs :) Plenty of hot water in the showers. Wifi was pretty good. Amazing location just 300m from Plaza de Armas. I could leave my extra luggage during the Salkantay trek.”
