“This place was a dream ! My favourite parts were firstly the owner - she was so kind, warm , caring and lovely - she spent so much time with us - helping us with ideas of what to do and even booking a wine tour for us. I really enjoyed our conversations in the big open air magnificent courtyard . The breakfast provided was amazing - always with fresh fruit and many choices and cheeses and breads and strong coffee. The kitchen also gave us the possibility to make our own meals or bring back a pizza (amazing spot right across the street) and enjoy it with a local wine from our tour. Tarija as a whole was a surprise - it's nothing like the rest of high altitude Bolivia I have seen (and love ,)- it boasts a warmth and a tropical climate with palm trees and people sitting all around the squares enjoying late meals with delicious wines (and feels a lot more like Argentina in many ways).
Our room was magnificent - colorful, warm and big with an extremely comfortable bed and bedding. Our bathroom was outside the room and turned out to be a private one which I didn't expect - it was spacious and gorgeous with all kinds of toiletries. We also had a huge living room (and since no one was in the room next to us it was all for us ) with a luscious blue couch and many calming elements fitting for the Namaste name ! Thank you for the most beautiful experience ❤️”
“This is a super nice hostel in downtown Tarija 😊 the owner and the staff are amazing and can help you with getting around Tarija and everything else!
The common area has a lot of space for relaxing and spending nice evenings with the other guests and also the staff 😁 totally recommended!”
“I can only say good things about this beautiful hostel. If you have a chance to stay, you must. Great location, the kindest of kind family, who offered breakfast even though I arrived and checked in early. Awesome spaces to hang out, nice kitchen.”
“Great location just a few meters from the main square Luis de Fuentes and la Casa Dorada. Quite comfy and very neat rooms with lovely antique furniture. Friendly staff and good services. The owners are quite helpful providing info about tours in Tarija. The ice cream shop is probably the best in the city. The Casona Gloria has an added historic value being the place where the great poet Roberto Echazú was born.”
