“Great pub, lovely and quintessentially English, lovely walks and good food”
“A lovely big sunny room, very comfortable bed, massive bathroom with a lovely shower. Breakfast was served to the room and was delicious. There were lots of lovely little touches that made it such wonderful stay. Very helpful to have parking just opposite the house.”
“The Tea House is beautifully decorated and the house is so quaint. Beds are incredibly comfortable and great shower. The location was perfect, right in the middle of Rye. Breakfast was delicious. Brenda was so kind and looked after us very well on my mum's 60th birthday.”
“Lovely large room with en suite. The bed was really comfortable. The staff’s were really friendly and helpful. My son and i really enjoyed the free games room. The location was perfect, everything was in walking distance, shops, restaurants, beach, amusements and attractions.”
“The "check-in" was a little unusual. There are no staff to meet and greet; instead several emails were sent in advance and key codes were given for the initial opening of the main door and bedroom doors; there is a key card waiting on the dressing table which can be used thereafter. The room was a very small single but they managed to get an ensuite toilet and shower and a tiny wardrobe space. There was tea and coffee and lots of extras, including lots of milk and even some complimentary sweets and chocolates. For £3 a day you can perchase a parking permit which can be used all over Eastbourne but I parked my car right outside the hotel including for the whole day after checking out when I'd moved it to the seafront. Breakfast was exceptional - one of the best I've had at any hotel. It was a chilly day in late May and I was pleasantly surprised that the heating was on in my room . The breakfast staff were lovely, helpful and very efficient. It was a very short walk to the Congress theatre and to the pier, seafront and town centre. There was a guest lounge and books available to read”
“Rooms are clean and comfortable”
“Lovely room and wonderful stay :) The property is close to the sea and not too far from the train station.
The owner was fast to respond to any questions I had. Will absolutely be booking again.”
“P
Lovely accommodation, very clean, everything well organised, host was friendly and helpfully, sat nav brought us to a farm across the road but once we realised wrong location we found the place easily. Would definitely go again if in the area.”

When guests stay at the property they check out how quiet the room is, how friendly the staff are and more.
And finally, a review
