“I don’t know where to begin. When we first came, the host met us with a refreshment drink, which was delicious. We stayed alone in the whole ryokan, which was beautiful, everyting is put together, everything in its own place, everything where you need it to be, things in little boxes, baskets, decorative plates. It was beautiful. There was complementary bottled water, tea, coffee and japanese sweets as well as fruit, which were all very delicious. The location is also nice, a bit away from all the fuss of the city, but easy to reach. As we were about to leave, the host also made us a little present with a cute note on top, that was very nice of him. All things considered, it was worth the money, we had a very nice stay that not only met, but exceeded our expectations.”
“I loved everything about this stay. Very friendly and warm hosts, a really comfortable place overall. Iyo doesn’t have too much in the way of food, but they provided some toast and jam which was really nice of them. I’m especially grateful that they took me around the town when I unfortunately couldn’t make it to Cat Island. Beds were comfy futons.”
“This country side villa is renovated to accommodate a family, a couple, and a group tourist in the western Shikoku. The location is not convenient if you do not travel by car, though the Saikyo city is a bike friendly town and you can enjoy a quiet country side with your bike. The villa has a beautiful and gorgeous bathroom with a comfortable bath tub and a strong shower. The kitchen has everything you need to cook and a bonus bbq grill is available at patio. The owner is a very friendly lady who also runs a ramen noodle shop in town. You may want to try her ramen during your stay.”

“The house is just so beautiful! The brilliance of Traditional meets modern in a functional and aesthetically beautiful way. There is parking at the front a small space for a small car. We were greeted so warmly, with the house warmed up, and it stocked with some essentials already. The house was well stocked with utensils and cooking items, we went to the supermarket not far from the house and cooked up a lovely dinner in the kitchen. The kotatsu was so warm and comfortable, the bedrooms had very soft comfortable mattresses and pillows as well! The house is very close to Ozu castle and it’s a lovely and short walk through the suburb to get there and if you want more of a walk there is access to the river that is next to the castle that has a lovely scenic walk. I would definitely recommend a stay and if I am ever back with the family I will stay again!”
