“Everything was clean. Beds were comfortable. AC worked well (and we let the fan run constantly all night for a great white noise generator).
Our unit was back in a corner on the first floor (they shuffled people around last minute to allow us to have a ground floor room). It was nice and dark with the drapes closed.
We were right on Main Street, within easy walking of a Milagro's Coffee shop (good espresso and a wide variety of food and drink), the Friar's Fork (highly recommended), HobbyTown and everything else on Main Street (or just off of Main).
Easy driving distance to Great Sand Dunes National Park and the Sand Dunes Recreation hot springs (the Greenhouse is awesome for temp controlled, shady soaking, for adults only...fancier food than outside area and alcohol).
Breakfast was at a cafe attached to the lobby (you had to walk about 50 feet past the lobby entrance to get to it). Nothing fancy (choose one of 5 meals), but the food was very good. Vouchers were provided for both mornings we were there.”
