  “Laoija is a very authentic house in a beautiful scenery, unspoiled by the mass tourism so far. Haibo is extremely nice and helpful, the food is basic but very tasteful. We did a lot of hiking, one day with Haibo's mother. Very inspiring.”

  “It is based a couple minutes (5min tops) by foot out of the old town of PingAn town, which did not bother us at all though because we came with heavy luggage and so we were able to drive up to the hotel with the car and still having the perfect hiking distance up to the view points. The rooms are really generously large and comfortable with a nice view from the balcony. The home cooked dinner was delicious and the staff overall was very thoughtful and accommodating.”

  “The receptionist was super helpful: she stayed in touch with the driver to get me there. Met me at the carpark - I would not have found the place on my own. Then she helped to organise transport to the airport which proved very challenging due to it being low season and almost no transport options available. The room was spacious, very quiet and great views over the rice terraces.”

  “Little hotel in a village just outside Yangshuo and 30min walk to the top of Moonlight mountain. Comfortable beds with sufficient facilities serving quality food at its Luna Restaurant. Very helpful staff who speak fluent English (commodity in China), arrange taxi, tickets to the unmissable Impression Sanjie Liu river show, offer free bikes, calligraphy class, cooking class, etc. Exceeded our expectations!”

  “Very cosy hotel, feels like staying at home. Spotless room, very polite and friendly staff. Our room had an amazing view of the river The mascot of the hotel is a very nice cat that immediately gives you a sense of peace and tranquillity. Very good breakfast”
