“This hotel is definitely amazing! We loved everything about it. It’s very warm, the room is very cozy, and there’s a wonderful view from the room. All the rooms are architected to offer great views. One morning, we even had a cloud visit our terrace! The hotel is filled with interesting little artistic details. There’s a good, clean area with a warm pool and a sauna, beautifully lit thanks to well-designed windows.
The hotel also has a fantastic restaurant where the chefs are true artists. The dishes are creatively composed, wonderfully prepared, and beautifully presented.
It’s a very peaceful and quiet place above the tourist town. If I visit Jujuy again, I will definitely choose this hotel again!”
“The hostel had a nice cosy feel, the location was great, a ten minute walk into the town centre and to the bus station etc. but a little out of the centre so it was nice and quiet. Nice outdoors communal areas which I imagine would be lovely in summer but unfortunately it was too cold to use them most of the time! The breakfast was also great, nice selection of breads and fruits.”
“The property is very cute with a great patio area, the coffee pot, tea, and water filling jug are nice touches that are available in the lobby at all times. Breakfast is simple, toast, fruit, and muffins--but it does the job of getting by til lunch. Host was very nice and helpful and even exchanged USD for pesos when we were running short and couldn't find cash, though English was limited, we still managed to figure it all out.”
“We ed stayed one night before crossing the border to Argentina. So left straight after breakfast.. place was spotless room was lovely, really good value for money.”
“Tilcara is in a beautiful location, and I rather enjoyed taking in the surroundings from a heated pool! This is a comfortable hotel, with 24/7 (I think) friendly staff, turn-down service and on-site parking. Clean and stylish, under 10 minutes' walking from Tilcara center. Pretty ideal for driving around Jujuy or taking some R&R time. Breakfast was solid, and the restaurant in the hotel is quite good. May be worth noting it's a little tricky to get a car up to the hotel, but that's not their fault.”
