  • Albergue Arribada Review score: 10

“This is such a well-designed hostel! The bunk beds are comfortable, stable, and with curtains that provide a lot of privacy. The big kitchen is well-equipped, and everything is fastidiously clean. The facilities are handicapped-accessible, so everything is spacious and comfortable to use. The staff are friendly and happy to help, very responsive to messages -- thank you, Aure! I was happy to extend my stay here to a week when my travel plans changed.”

  • Hostel & Rooms Casa Maia Review score: 10

“What a beautiful place. We were so surprised to have such a lovely room and the little terrace was the perfect place for us to relax after a long day walking the Camino. We were made to feel very welcome here. It’s about a mile outside of Padron so we stocked up at the supermarket on the way in. Breakfast was an additional bonus. Thank you for a wonderful stay.”

  • Hotel Compostela Review score: 9

“The hotel it's located in a main street with a lot of road traffic, but easy to get to the cathedral and the main historical center of Santiago. it's just on the other side of the street.”

  • Albergue Seminario Menor Review score: 8

“Huge albergue, accommodating hundreds, but so spacious you can feel like no one else is there at times. Great kitchen for preparing your own meals with a small "supermarket" that is very thoughtfully stocked (although the juice machine could be labeled to say that the juice contains added sugar!) The location outside the centre is relaxing, with lots of park area and local community nearby. I enjoyed getting acquainted with that part of Santiago.”
