“Everything was perfect! The spa, the nature, and the breakfast are really the highlights!
Little tip: the swimming pool is only open during the summer months. Check with the host if it is open during your stay :)”
“Excellent accommodation in charming and characterful fortified manor house, with lovely gardens.
Good food, paricularly the breakfast. Entirely enclosed so safe for pets if you are travelling with one.
Would highly recommend.”
“Disgusting!
I traveled through 9 countries on my trip, but nowhere have I seen such terrible and disrespectful service.
It all started with the fact that when I arrived at the place, I discovered that there were no free parking spaces, neither on the street next to the house, nor on two parallel streets. I called the contact number, the man answered the phone and was simply silent several times, in the end he called back and said that his son would meet me. I told to son about the problem with parking, he showed me a place where there is a separate parking lot. However, firstly, the parking lot was quite far from the house, and secondly, it cost 15 euros per day. I call the contact number again and begin to explain to the person about the current problem. As a result, I get a dry answer that this is not our problem, look for parking yourself. I tried to reason with the person and expected at least minimal help, at least to say clearly where there is free parking as indicated in their description. If I had known from the start that parking was such a problem here, I would definitely have booked a spot elsewhere. But in response I heard the same thing: this is not our problem, there is free parking on two streets, if there are no spaces there, then look for it yourself. At the same time, during the dialogue, he mentioned that residents from nearby houses usually return from work at 19:00 and therefore there may be no free places after that, but at the same time they have check-in from 19:30, funny isn’t it? But then more, this person starts trying to tell me that he did a favor for me, because he called me once during the day, and I didn’t pick up because I was driving, but they still “prepared” my room. Although I indicated my arrival time in the application. Watch the attached photos for how they prepared it, I’ll come back to this later.”
“Hello, we had an extraordinary stay with very friendly and warm-hearting hosts who were interested in staying in contact with us and talking. It's a marvelleous place to destress and to calm down. Breakfast was absolutely sufficient and of very good quality. The possibility to eat diner in a premium French way can absolutely be recommended. I would like to come back. Our wishes were somewhat read from the eyes.”
“This was a fantastic find and more than met our expectations. As soon as we arrived the owners came out to welcome us and showed us the undercover parking for our motorcycles. The room was fantastic and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was lovely, the home made yoghurt and jams delicious. 5 minute walk to centre of town. Highly recommend!”
