  “The location is close to the ocean and we used our balcony to see it every day. The rooftop seating gives a great view and place to rest for all guests. Lots of free parking around. The staff were lovely and made sure we enjoyed our stay. Love the fact the hotel belongs to a family with a great back story too. The staff spoke warmly of the owners which is always good to hear.”

  “The staff make this motel exceptional - nothing was too much trouble and any issues were dealt with quickly and with care. All staff gave a cheery hello and reception staff remembered who we were. We loved walking from the motel into Acadia national park and also into Bar Harbor. A mechanical issue which affected our room was swiftly investigated and we were moved without fuss to an unaffected room. The renovated retro rooms are great but it’s not style over substance as the beds are comfortable and the rooms spacious with a microwave and mini fridge which we found really useful. We were hesitant in staying 4 nights at a motel but would come back in a flash - and we are fussy!”
