  “Spectacular place! A beautifully renovated old building rich with history. The room was huge, with an extra place to relax and watch TV. The bedroom itself had two large beds that were spaced so far apart it was like an extra bedroom for our teenage son. Lovely soft carpet and all exceptionally clean. The breakfast was cooked on the spot by a very talented and sweet cook who whipped up a feast and kindly packed up the leftovers for us. The Innkeeper had a vast and deep knowledge of the place and was able to provide us with some interesting historical facts and local knowledge. It is clear that the hotel is a cherished and much-valued place and there aren't many places like this left. The town itself is a gem and we wish we could have stayed longer. And indeed we will stay here again!”
