  • Notojima Guesthouse HaNaMi Review score: 10

    “Wonderfully kind and helpful host.”

  • GUESTHOUSE UMENOYA Review score: 9

“Umenoya Guesthouse is ideally situtated. Wajima is not a big city so you can visit entirely on foot from the hostel. The ramen shop associated to the hostel is very good and you'll have access to a coworking space (free) with tea/coffee (100yen) and books. In addition the host gave me one free entrance per day I stayed to the local onsen (at 5min walk distance). I stayed in a single room, it was comfy and perfect for a few days. Each room has a lock on its door so you don't have to worry about putting your stuff in a drawer with a lock. The shared equipement was very clean.”

“Great guesthouse in Wajima, it has everything you would need. Very clean, convenient, comfortable, staff is always nice and friendly, they also run a ramen shop next to the guesthouse. And there's a parking lot too.”

“Very cool design, solid bunkbeds, clean.”

  • GUESTHOUSE UMENOYA Review score: 7

“The staff is very friendly & helpful. The living room is very comfy and nice, on a rainy day I spent the whole afternoon on the couch in a fluffy blanket. Right next to the hostel is a ramen restaurant, which cook very good.”

  • ROOM design hotel Review score: 10

“Excellent service. Beautiful room and large!”

  • GUESTHOUSE UMENOYA Review score: 10

“Staff were very helpful, although I don't think they spoke much English. There's a noodle place that's part of the business which made for a nice dinner, although isn't listed on Google maps. I had a single room which was comfy and warm. Very clean, building looks brand new, comfy lounge that also functions as a co-working area. Soundproofing was bad to nonexistent but I found it wasn't an issue during my stay. They also give you a free voucher to a local onsen roughly a 10 minute walk away, I used it and the onsen was very nice.”
