“Nice old building, in classic Styrian style. There is a common room where guests can play and chat, there is a piano and TV. They have a freezer there, too. The mamagers of the guest house are very nice, very helpful, charming people. I absolutely recommend them in case you intend to ski or hike around Kreischberg/Murau/Lachtal.”
“The hotel is in a close proximity to the Lachtal ski centre and easily reachable by car. The hotel itself is nice, room was spacious and the bed comfortable. We also liked the fact that the toilet was separate from the bathroom and both had windows.
We opted in for half board meaning that dinners were also included. The cuisine was traditional Austrian and portions were very generous. We were very happy with the food. Breakfast was the same every day, with a good selection of food (but could be improved, perhaps some variety could be added).
The hotel also has a small spa area in the basement which is great after a long day of skiing. We mostly had it to ourselves as the hotel wasn't busy during our stay. The spa has a jacuzzi, Finnish hot sauna and infra-red sauna cabin.
Overall, we had a very pleasant and relaxing stay at Gasthof zum Mohrn.”
“Very responsive staff, helping in any situation. We were kindly provided with a transfer from the nearby train station. The hotel has excellent location near the ski lift and one step away from the slopes. On the ground floor a storage room for ski equipment and sleds.
The hotel rooms are warm, clean and modern in style with comfortable beds.
Delicious breakfasts and excellent dinners, homemade delicious such as pork ribs, mashed potatoes, goulash, roasts, soups, fresh vegetables and much more. You can also order dishes according to your taste/diet.
