“Beautiful, big house that you have all to yourself, in a spectacular natural setting. The host is extremely helpful and obliging. The downside is that the property is a little far from the main road, and not really in walking distance. That means that you are entirely dependent on ordering a tuk tuk (which, it must be added, the host is always ready to do for you.) This is not really a problem, but it is not as easy as being in the town itself.”

“This was a two-day stay I booked for my dad as a gift and he was absolutely over the moon coming to the in-house and personalised service provided by Malinda, the calm village location, and experiencing the hospitality of the villagers around. Dad said that the care and attention as well as the comfort he had made him feel at home, which is no exaggeration, and probably his best stay in a similar place and secluded location. In a nutshell, he was all praises and loved everything about his stay from start to finish. In fact, I must add that from the very moment of the booking, Rasike's response, who handles the bookings was assuring and inviting, too. It's all the more rewarding that all proceedings of the booking go to a fund that helps and aids the education of the children in the village. “Having the entire home during our stay was very nice. There is a kitchen equipped well to prepare your own food and a large fridge to store the food. There is a washing machine available, which is very helpful. The bedroom is equipped with an AC, which worked very well and it was very helpful since it was very hot during our stay. The bed was very comfortable and bed linens were very clean.
The host is very responsive, ready to help with local recommendations and to be sure that the guests enjoy their stay, which is really nice. The location is very peaceful, about 1 km from the main road, but if you like to walk, you can reach by foot this distance and go to supermarkets, ATMs, bus stops. There are some small shops nearby where you can buy fruits, vegetables and snacks or water.
Overall, the ratio price-amenities was very good.”
