“The nicest owners; Kusal and his girlfriend Sunda. He really helped us with everything. He took us to the restaurant of his father, the next day showed us the bike rental place and helped us te get out of the park when we took the ‘wrong’ exit. On top of that arranged the taxi for us to Kandy!! Can only give compliments about this place. WiFi is working, need to ask but in 5 minutes it was there! Large towels, good bed; can only recommend this place and we would have loved to stay longer!!”
“We loved the pool and the garden! Perfect for relaxing after exploring the ancient city in the heat. The owner and his son who managed the hotel were incredibly friendly and kind. They went out of their way to ensure that I had a fantastic breakfast that catered to my dietary needs (gluten free). Tishan is situated about 15 min away (by car) from the ancient ruins and the town of Polonnaruwa itself.”

“Our stay at Seyara was short with only a one night stay, but this hotel meet our needs and is priced appropriately. Staff were welcoming from the time we arrived and ensured our needs were met. We stayed in a family room, and the room was spacious whilst basic was clean and comfortable.
Our room rate included breakfast and dinner, and my word, the dinner so far would have to be the best Sri Lankan meal we have had on our trip - thank you!”
“The room is very spacious and clean. There is a good area outside with a table and chairs to relax. The owners are very friendly and helpful. They offered me many things for free such as snacks, tea and coffee. The owner arranged a guide to take me around the ancient city. The guide was brilliant too.”
