“comfy beds and good facilities. staff are friendly and short walk to the town. lack of water pressure for the shower, but this is a problem around the whole town, so not the hostels fault. bucket wash facilities for when shower doesn’t work.”
“Really nice and cosy newly opened hostel. Beds are very spacious (bigger than 1 size), curtains gives a lot of privacy and it's completely dark for good sleep. The view is amazing and host knows everything I might want to know about Port Barton. And for this price, it might be just the best place to stay in Port Barton.”
“Beautiful property! The room was large and the bed, pillows and beddings are really comfy. Best of all the owners/staff were amazing and friendly. Breakfast was delicious! The property itself is well located from the beach and looks cosy with a nice pool and the lobby has really good lights on in the evening. obviously totally recommend Tabularasa - one of the best accommodations I ever stayed in.”
“Excellent situation, very quiet place not far from town. Rooms are very nice, with kitchen and nice terrasse
Owners are very helpful you can rent scooter there”
“We stayed in the 6 bed dorm, which had great airconditioning and huge beds. Individual lockers were present and each bed had its own light and power outlet. Port Barton is rather small and everything was within walking distance. There is a seperate building with several toilets and showers, all worked good.”
“The food was fantastic, views, facilities and the friendliness of the staff was just great. Roberto organised us a private transfer from Puerto Princesa airport to the resort which was around four thousand pesos and the van could easily seat eight eight so very good value if sharing plus it meant we didn't have to wait for any other vans and get buses into town.
Costs wise for food was also incredibly good value, plus the food is just stunning, all home made, tasty and a lot of variety. For two people plus a day trip out island hopping, again organized by Roberto the night before we spent around £100 each for five days food and drink and that was not scrimping, we had dessert each day, coffees, alcoholic drinks so all in all seriously good value!
I cannot recommend sunset beach resort enough, Roberto and April were happy to help with recommendations and booking excursions plus travel, and the location is just gorgeous, great sunsets each day and a fantastic place to relax.”
