“Overall, it’s a beautiful place. While not the most comfortable, the room was quite big, and the private bathroom, although old, had its charm. The attention from the girls at reception was amazing! Our room was between what seemed to be the main entrance and the reception, so there were many people knocking on the door, which was super annoying. Unfortunately, we were not able to enjoy the restaurant as it’s closed on Monday and Tuesday, but the menu and comments seem super good! I would stay here again, hopefully in another room. 😀”
“This is such a great place to stay during the Camino. It’s a bit outside the center of town, but a short taxi ride will take you there in minutes. The room was nice, clean, and modern, with a great bed and everything you need to be comfortable. The pool was a big plus for us; the cold water was the best medicine for our tired legs. We slept so well, and the next day we were rested and ready to continue. They have a bar/restaurant which is great for chilling on the terrace. Also, the girl at reception was super nice and helpful with organizing our taxi the next day and attending to our questions and requests. Loved our stay here!”
“Everything as described. Professional. Unique experience with a cottage. Don't hesitate - this is the place to be.
Shout-out to the guy at the front desk. He was very kind, professional and utterly helpful. Thanks, man!”
“Location as it was half way for a stage on the Camino Frances Sarria to Santiago. Perfect for walking half stages for older people.
Restaurant Casa for dinner 1km further up the road at Casa Ma Luz was excellent.”
“Beautiful location in the middle of the forest; it’s quiet and calm, making it great for rest. The staff was nice overall, and the lady from the restaurant was super helpful and nice to us! Big shout out to her and the food. We loved the location and the whole ambiance. However, I was disappointed to find out that you have to pay 15 euros extra to use the pool. Maybe I did not read the conditions well, but I think this is a liability because you can't fully enjoy the hotel without paying extra for everything. It's not the cheapest hotel, so you would assume you can at least use the public spaces. Other than that, the room was big with good beds, though the furniture and bathroom were old. Overall, it was comfy. Be aware that the place is super far away from town, so you need to get a taxi! We also loved the picnic food we got for breakfast the next day since we left super early and didn't have time to enjoy breakfast at the restaurant. ❤️”
