  • Iron Horse Inn Review score: 10

“Breakfast was julie is the perfect hostess we love Granbury !”

  • “A wonderful colonial feel. Like stepping back in time. The place is run like a family hotel, and that is the vibe we got. The room was spacious and with vintage feeling to ad to the 'old time' look and feel. As this is more a family house than a modern hotel, there is no soundproofing between the rooms, so expect neighbour noise. Did not bother us though. There is an afternoon gathering of guests. Did not participate as we had a late check in, but try to catch it if you can. Ads an extra layer to the family feel. Also there was a night cap in the common area, when we returned from a dinner in town. Nice, little feature/treat. We borrowed some bike to go around Galveston. Perfect way to experience the surroundings.”

  • Comal Inn Review score: 10

“Our cottage was beautifully decorated and equipped, in a quiet street, and with a lovely furnished front porch for an evening drink and breakfast, (available fresh from our fridge). Car parking and internet ideal. And only a few minutes walk into downtown New Braunfels.”

  • The Maverick Inn Review score: 6

“Close enough to town and reasonably priced. Comfortable room.”

  • “We had a great stay at Strickland's. The house is a beautiful historic landmark in a very nice Austin neighborhood (Hyde Park), and the Stricklands did everything to make us feel at home, even having a mobile petting zoo on the day of our arrival (OK, I admit, it was for their granddaughter's birthday, but still great). Sandy's homemade biscuits for breakfast are a real treat. We'll be back the next time we travel to Austin!”

  • Express Inn & Suites Review score: 1

“Nothing. Worst place I ever stayed.”

  • “Quirky, independent facility. Loved the individuality and remote location”

  • Mariner Inn Review score: 7

“Location staff big mention to Richard”

  • Inn at Indian Creek Review score: 10

“The three cottages available are all well appointed, well equipped and have ample space around them. Indian Creek is a beautiful setting, the cottages are set around a pond that is backed by a small wood, the grounds extent to provide a nice walk into lovely countryside. The grounds are superbly maintain and provide a delightful space to stay. I would very happily visit again.”
