“Hotel Faraglione offers simple, clean and recently refurbished rooms. It has been family owned since the 50’s and there was a genuine islander warmth — the friendly staff immediately made us feel welcome. The hotel is located next to the ferry which is a perfect location for travellers arriving by foot. We visited during January and the small tourist-oriented community was quiet except for a few necessity shops, one cafe and the grocery store. We had perfect weather and climbed the island’s namesake volcano to the steaming crater. Incredible place and nice little community! ”
