“The host was very friendly and open for chatting. Even though we came to Hagi before check in time, we were able to store luggage and check at the convenient time. The place was clean and spacious, we loved the interior design. It was a stay in a temple inn with all the basic amenities provided but naturally limited access to electronics. Besides, we’re glad we’ve tried the art of calligraphy with the host.”
“My parner and I had a fantastic time at Imagine ! We had a lot of fun doing karaoke and the master chef cooked delicious dishes that we enjoyed right across the ocean with the amazing view on the sunset. Don't miss out on a great time, great company and make sure to check out Daiduk Kayak when you're there !”
“If you want to experience the real Japanese countryside (inaka) you should go to Hagi, if you go to Hagi, then you need to book a room at Tsurushima Stay. Not only does it have a unique, beautiful location, but the host is also exceptional. You can't except more, really”
“Visiting Hagi was a last minute decision... so glad we did. Its a great little historic town off the usual tourist track.
Rabbit is an amazing host. She met us at the station, gave us a quick tour of town, made dinner reservations for us and then settled us in to the guest house. It is a house, not just a room, and is well equipped and comfortable. Well located for seeing the town.
Highly recommended.”
“Ulala is an adorable guesthouse, and I recommend it a lot. The place is clean, the room is comfortable and you feel very safe. It is offered free slippers, free towels, and the bathroom is equipped with high-quality shampoo, hair mask, cleansing oil and hairdryer.
Also, the owner is welcoming and makes you feel like home. She offered me a car ride in two instances, and helped me take my luggage to the bus station. Thank you very much, I really appreciate it.
it is located two minutes away from a Buddhist temple (Tokoji), which is worth visiting.
Hagi is a beautiful, small coastal city with many interesting historical places, and the kindest people I met throughout my trip in Japan. You can do everything basically by walking but there’s also a cheap and nice bus system transportation that takes you to the main places faster.”
