The room was a little small and given the two single beds, the beds tend to scootch apart. No big deal though.

The location is exceptional, and the staff is extremely friendly, I felt welcome as I set foot into the building! The facilities and possibilities offered by the accommodation are remarkable! Breakfast was good, a solid variety, the view is stunning.

There was nothing we didn't like. Wish we could have stayed longer.

What a fantastic place for an overnight stop over between Stockholm and Copenhagen. The welcome and all our experiences with staff were some of the friendliest we experienced on our 2 week road trip. We loved our little cabin and we enjoyed a cold dip in the lake followed by a sauna. The food in the restaurant was great and we enjoyed the local speciality peppermint ice cream. Breakfast was also excellent.

The room was very noisy, you could easily hear what the upstairs neighbours were saying, if you know the language. We booked a room with bathroom on the hallway but were automatically upgraded to a room with bathroom in the room, but not sure if I was happy with that upgrade afterwards. The bathroom door is a sliding frosted glass door, which didn't close well, so it's not really nice when the room is so small already. Maybe better to have had the bathroom in the hallway. We knew the room would be small though.

The bed was good. The breakfast was good as well. The setup looks quite nice and cosy with the different houses on the plot.

We couldn't figure out how to switch off the LED strip lights in along the ceiling and above the bed so had to leave them on during the night which wasn't great. It seemed the lighting system was slightly faulty in our room. There was no one on the reception desk as this was in the middle of the night so we had to put up with it. Perhaps a more straightforward system would be useful, or some instructions, haha!

Clean room which was nicely decorated, quiet and comfortable. When we checked in there had been a mix up with another guest (same surname) and we first thought we wouldn't have a room for the night, however, this was quickly resolved and the staff were friendly. The hotel is in a nice location with nature, cows and a lake around. Short drive to Granna which is where we were going the next day.

Excellent exept a little smell of cleaning chemicals on arrival at room 33. It was ok after some hours. Otherwise perfect.

I missed mosquito netting on the windows to be able to open the window at night (it was hot). The view of the water from the restaurant was not as good as the property information suggests. Coffee and tea could be better quality.

As above there was no real positive to write but the bed was comfortable. We understood they were busy but as paying guests we would have liked to at least be made to feel welcome.

Very disappointing. On arrival despite 4 members of staff close by we were not greeted or told the reception desk was in the dining area. When we eventually realised we were handed our key. When we asked if we could eat there that evening the answer was well we are busy so not till very late and then not sure. We were then told we could sit outside but it was pouring with rain. She laughed and said we do have blankets. To me, it is very inappropriate. We had rushed there be ause we only had 2 hours in which to check in. We went to our room which was small and the window was right next to a seating area making us feel we had to shut the curtains for privacy. We eventually drove 20 minutes to get something to eat as they had made an attempt to help us. In the morning the breakfast was OK. We were disappointed when we saw them adding water to the orange juice. We had looked forward to our stay and had been made to feel so unwelcome we couldn't wait to leave.

The fridge was broken and was not replaced. My food got damaged 😞. Lighting was damaged. Had to call for support to switch off lights. Shower cream dispenser was broken and not repaired even after making a note at reception.

The staff was not the best unfortunately. Some tried really hard but some were just ignorant and seemed not to care to much. Also the restaurant was very noise since almost all the people in there were a bunch of people celebrating a birthday, so it was a bit hard to even talk at some parts of our dinner.

The rooms were nice and the location was nice though very far into the woods.

Reception staff was quite busy with the restaurant when we arrived. Check-in was quick though. We were told upon check-in that the restaurant was closed for the public due to a wedding that night. An upfront info would have been better, as this is the only place to eat in that village.

Amazing and quite location, great breakfast. Rooms are small but OK, decoration and style are nice. Only a small walk to the lake, a real plus.

It was an excellent location directly on a lake. The Sauna what belongs to Bauergarden is just 150 Meter down the road with direct access to the lake. It´s an amazing view and relaxing is ensured. Breakfast and also the menue offers during dinner are excellent. There is no english menue card but the friendly staff is always giving you recommendations and will translate. I would like to come again :-)

The room were not of the quality or standard you expect for the selected price. No AC in the room forced us to sleep with open windows to keep fighting of flies. Didnt get a good night sleep. Also could hear the neighbour snore through the wall at night.

Very nice restaurant, very professional staff, great locally produced food and great location.
