Breakfast is rather simple but still great. Location is very convenient for those who plan to visit Fårö.

Great place to stay. An old Swedish air force base that has been converted into holiday chalets. I was upgraded to a "Studio" so my comments relate to this type of accommodation. Comfortable beds, en-suite bathroom and kitchen make it a good choice. About 15 minutes walk into Fårösund with its free ferry to Fårö and supermarket. 5 minute walk from bus stop. Also interesting local walks as well. You can also hire a bike from Bunge Hostel as they have an arrangement with a local bike hire company. Overall I recommend this as a place to stay.

we had a lovely stay at STF Bunge Hostel. the facilities are simple but you have the essential and everything is very clean. I loved this stay close to nature, waking up everyday and opening my window to trees and fields

- It’s next to a small airport, so sometimes there is some noise from small airplanes –luckily not at night - I've had better beds/mattresses in cabins - Beware: there only seems to be breakfast during the high/touristic season

+ Everything looked good, neat –they have been renovating the cabins so I guess that’s why! + Possibility to rent a (very good) bike + Kitchen: good fridge, oven, cooking plates + Not too far away from sea/ferry –to get to Fårö island

The walls in the hostel were kind of thin so you could easily hear neighboring rooms. There was a larger group that was a little noisy, but otherwise that is it.

When I arrived, I was greeted by the owner who walked me through the check in process. She also set me up with a much larger room in a quieter building, because there was a large wedding party staying at the hostel. The rooms were comfortable and the common areas were kept very clean. I also took advantage of the free breakfast and cheap bike rental (150SEK a day). The location is also perfect--it was a 7 minute bike ride to the ferry so that I could explore Faro all day.

The rooms we stayed in were not very good isolating noise. We could hear everything! Even the neighbour snoring in the other room. The bathroom was also quite small for the amount of guests they can have in high season.

I was going to stay in the hostel with shared kitchen etc, but they upgraded me to my own studio and it was so modern and fresh and I loved it!

couldn’t live even one night in there. it’s a box in the middle of a frozen field. they lied about location. it’s not in the town of farosund but rather in a isolated place called bunge. which is in the middle of nowhere basically. just had a pole marking a bus stand 10 minutes away. not for solo travellers in winter! it was empty no one was about. reception, restaurant was closed and obviously there would be no breakfast. also they basically sell a three bed dorm as a studio. they charged an exorbitant amount of money and this led me to believe this would be a nice place! Not at all!! if it’s not the season then they could have simply closed and not completely ruined people’s hard earned vacation time!

nothing. it’s a box in the middle of a frozen field. I left the place after checking it out it’s inhospitable. management never replied to my messages. I want to be refunded.

You have to clean after yourself if you don't want to pay extra fee, and that's when you realise that the nice gray floor is actually dirty. In my case I found a cut nail from a previous guest. You always have to balance between your, the previous guest's and the controller's standards for cleanliness.

Very fresh and lovely room with everything you need in the kitchen. Comfortable beds, nice furniture and bathroom. Breakfast is not five stars, but more than enough with very good fresh bread. Each room has a table outside to sit and relax. Ferry to Fårö is 3 minutes away by car. Nearest shop - 2 minutes.
