How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

You cannot say that it's a hotell with pool when kids are not allowed and the cost is 500kr per person.

I wouldn't book this hotel if wanting a swimming pool. The pool is a spa and it is very expensive for a family 4 to go too. We had 2 kids under 10 years old wanting to go for a swim but the cost was a lot as it is a spa place.
Was a nice Hotel, good rooms and pretty fresh. Location was pretty good. Good breakfast. We were pretty happy with our stay there. Bishop arms not a bad pub to go for a drink and have some dinner also.

Rooms were a bit small. The bathroom was a bit small. Few power outlets in the room. The water was slow in the shower
Centrally located with good parking. Cleanliness and breakfast. The spa was nice too

Pretty worn out bathroom. Pool is payed separately and is quite expensive: 500 SEK + bathrobe and slippers 200 SEK per person.

I was disappointed by the fact that the swimming pool and sauna need to be payed and booked in advance. My bad, didn't check it before booking.
Very good clean room, nice staff, tasty breakfasts. That's what you expect from a good hotel

Unable to use pool. It seems pool is part of spa and I can’t use it without booking for spa. That was little bummer for us.

I got a message from the hotel 2 days before the stay with an offer to upgrade, I really like the offer and accepted it, but got a response that this room is occupied. Why offer it to me from the beginning then? Was a bit disappointed

No slippers or bathrobe in the room. I did not ask at the reception, I just noticed there were not in the room.
Great breakfast! Nice room size, good bathroom size. Great shower. Clean and full minibar. Staff is very happy, helpful and they know everything. Location is very central and underground parking is great, especially during the winter. Very good hotel. Great value for money!

Maybe it’s just me, the eggs in the morning seem to be under cooked.
In the heart of the city. Near the train station. Tons of paid parking available. Clean rooms and decent breakfast. The gym is the best in the city in regards to hotel gyms. Nice spa area. I didn’t use the spa due to short stay but plan to return and use the spa.

Too bad they did not inform us at arrival that the swimmingpool was inside the spa and you had to reserve a spot (and Pay for it). At reception they only gave us opening times.

The room was clean and the bed and pillows comfortable. Breakfast selection was really good We also visited the SPA, that consisted of a smaller pool and two small cold baths (bathtubs) - they advertised it as they had ‘three pools’, but that was not the correct picture. I would not say it was value for the extra money spent, but we spent 1h there with the kids.
Location was excellent and there was affordable parking just behind the hotel. The guy in the reception was really friendly and helpful - great service.

First of all, the sauna was not working (due to some technical issues) and that was quite disappointing since our plan was to spend some time at SPA. Only shallow pool and beds were available there. Though the sauna was finally open for visiting, it was too late to warm it up before the dinner The breakfast area was too much crowded (that was apparently a rush hour for all visitors there who cam more or less at the same time to have breakfast). As a result - shortage of empty plates, bowls, glasses and cutlery...
The variety of food was really impressive. Everything was delicious and fresh. Impressive variety of fruits as well
