There were only 3 TV channels available and little available in English for non Swedish speakers.

It's a really nice location served by public transport (though not that frequently) to get away from Umea city. There were a small number of nice trails for easy and medium hikes. Breakfast prepared in baskets were lovely and I liked that you could choose, mix and match what you wanted each day. The cabin was great, fairly compact but had everything you need and a great view of the river. The wood burner sauna was great way to spend an afternoon though it was a shame the water was already freezing over so we couldn't cold plunge! Definitely seems like there is more to do in the Summer months, though we enjoyed the snowy landscape. 2 nights was the perfect amount for November for a little walking and sauna maybe. Bakery across the road is delightful as well. Lunch and dinner service also great though dinner is quite expensive! Staff were very nice.

We rented one of the cabins. It was well renovated, clean and comfortable. Very friendly and welcoming staff, beautifully located on the island in the river. Their restaurant is fantastic, classy menu, great food and wines. It was a very relaxing stay.

I felt the price to use the hot tub and sauna was very expensive as it was not for exclusive use. The snowmobile safari was also expensive compared to ones we have done elsewhere in Sweden. However it was great fun with a very friendly guide.

It is convenient to go there from Umea by public bus. Also, cross-country ski equipment and snowshoes are available to rent so as to enjoy the beautiful environment.

The place is surreal, super gorgeous, comfortable, warm and cozy, and it really compliments the surroundings, with a lot of respect for the natural environment around it.

the road up to the cabin got very icy on one of the days and became a bit of a challenge to navigate. this was only for one night though as grit was put down the following morning.

The staff were very friendly, the scenery was amazing and there was lots to do as well as relaxing. A great get away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

The beds were very comfy, breakfast in the room was healthy, local, fresh and tasty. Awesome bread. We had dinner at the restaurant which was good as well. Staff was very friendly and helpful solving smaller issues.

The place was very beautiful and peaceful. The room was very clean and comfortable. Restaurant was cozy and the food was delicious. For a family of 4 it might be a bit expensive but then the taste was worth it. Staff were very friendly and nice. Would definitely visit again!!

Great place for outdoor activities. Very friendly & helpful staff. Clean Nordic room fully wooden. Hypoallergenic. Breakfast buffet with choice of cold cuts, fresh rolls, smoothies, yoghurts etc. Excellent diner in restaurant with choice of 2 day menu's. Cross country skiing with guide or skis for rent. Or just hike along the many marked teails. Snow mobile or husky safari options. Very international guests

everything is fantastic!! the staff is welcoming and very friendly. The bird nest and the small cottages are super comfortable with a clean swedish design and you have all that you need. The breakfast, lunch and dinner is really tasty and creative with lots of homemade options. The location and surrounding nature is simply heaven!!!
