There was no wardrobe or chest of drawers for your clothes so we had to drag the suitcases from under the bed each time we needed a change of clothes. I noticed other rooms had a wardrobe so it looks as it differs

Soundproofing of the room is not perfect, as can be expected in an old building. The wardrobe in the room was small and basic (no shelves).

A well maintained historical hotel, usually my first choice when I come to Uppsala. Rooms are relatively simple, but beautifully furnished and clean. Very good breakfast. Fast wifi. Great location next to the river.

I thought breakfast was OK (in terms of the variety of things on offer) - but not of the same standard as the rooms.

The rooms was just so lovingly decorated. This simply does not feel like your usual hotel where the rooms look increasingly alike. Everything was so tastefully done, and I had a lovely view onto the city. And I felt that the staff were extremely friendly and eager to help. A wonderful stay

I liked everything.

This is at the moment my favorite hotel in Sweden. The price is reasonable (Sweden is very expensive), the building historical and beautiful, the room reasonably-sized with a great view, and decorated in a simple and very nice way. Good bed with wonderful linen, good table and chairs, small bathroom that has everything you need. And it is very clean! something very hard to find in Sweden where the hygiene standards are very low. The breakfast is also very nice with a couple of cool details (like the machine for pressing your orange juice). The wifi works too. We will come back, what a nice place.

the room was very spacious, but there was hardly any storage and the bathroom was comparatively small. Again, with small shelve to put stuff. when travelling, it's nice to have shelves and cupboards to put stuff away

Nothing negative! It is worth mentioning that parking at the private parking space of the hotel costs extra and depends on avalability. You can reserve a spot beforehand. We found the rate to be fair and got a spot which was great. There is regular paid parking on the street, too, so this is also an option.

We really enjoyed our stay at the cosy and charming Grad Hotel Hörnan. Our room was very cute, comfortable, very clean, well equipped and we had the nicest view on the river and the cathedral. The room was on the smaller side but charming and we didn't mind at all. We enjoyed the historical vibe of the building and also liked that it was warm and cosy as it was cold outside. Breakfast was great, the staff very friendly and helpful, our bed very comfortable. We highly recommend.

Very quiet place, even though it is right in the middle of the old town. Taking one back into time with beautiful rooms and bathroom set in the early years but with modern comfort. Clean, excellent breakfast and comfortable rooms. We never got to visit The restaurant.

This was a beautiful, charming while also stately hotel in an incredible location at the heart of Uppsala, and the staff were very personable, friendly and helpful. I loved staying here. Also, the breakfast was perhaps the best I've seen in years of traveling -- simply amazing.
