Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Great place, right by the seaside and mail trail going around peninsula. Rocky beach within 5 min walk. Rooms with seaside view. Decent breakfast. Special kudos to service team in the restaurant (professional and helpful waitresses from Poland).

DenmarkThe room was kind of dark, so we didn't realize until the next morning that we had under floor heating. this meant the room was really cold. It would have been a good idea for the lady at reception to tell us about the heating.
The location is second to none - spectacular landscape. Lovely room, super comfy beds. We had dinner in the restaurant, and it was really good.

It’s like back in the 80’s same goes for the completely low level wine straight out of a local shop and even served w overwhelming #soap bobbles in your glass, actually became quite comical 😂 The staff, apart from a few of the younger people who were nice, all seemed like they would much rather be somewhere else and really couldn’t careless..

SwedenDespite the unique location our stay were not as amazing as we thought it would. While the panorama view over the ocean were amazing the place were the opposite. Staff were not service minded and the place itself felt uncleaned and ”abandoned”. At breakfast, dishes from yesterday evening were still left in the dining area. Couldn’t wait to leave, luckily we only stayed one night.

SwedenThe rooms and the entire hotel felt somewhat dated. The TV had news apps (like CNN) but they didn’t work as they required updates which a guest couldn’t do. For our dog we had to pay a hefty surcharge of 300SEK (30€). Typically, you’ll expect some dog treats (a small bone or something) or at least a bowl for water on the room as it is standard in most hotels when charged extra but here we didn’t get anything for those 300SEK. Dinner at the restaurant was ok but didn’t match the price-level. Overall, a pleasant stay but you definitely pay for the location, not for the quality of the hotel.
The location is quite unique, staff was very friendly and the room was rather spacious. Breakfast was very nice with a lot of choices at the buffet.
