Restaurant experience was poor. Online menu in English language that was offered to us did not match the Italian menu available in the restauran: English menu had less choice and significantly higher prices. After our meal we were charged 8 euros service fee that we were not informed about before our meal. That service fee was over 20% of the cost of our meal. When we asked why such high service fee was added to our bill, staff was not helpful.

Loved the location. Our room was nice and had everything we needed.

The WiFi password was not posted anywhere in the room and the staff didn’t give it to me. Also it wasn’t clear where to check out from, so I was waiting upstairs to be told to come downstairs to the restaurant for checkout.

The location was great especially for watching the sunset.

It's cold. It takes a while for the room to get a bit warm. Unfortunately, the heating goes off around 3:00 A.M. or so. I told Fara about it the next day, and she gave me a warmer blanket, which made a difference.

Friendly staff, Fara, Roberto, Mario, to name some of them. They care about their guests by answering any questions or concerns.

Was a bit difficult to find the entrance since there are 2 and the main one used during the day is through restaurant.

Very nice location. The staff was extremely nice and helped a lot for a breakfast package because we departed very early before the breakfast opened and a taxi for the next morning. The room was clean and had everything I needed. The hotel restaurant was very good, I can recommend!

I have a healthy appetite and the breakfast was not really sufficient. Staff said they would organize an early breakfast at 7h as I had to leave to get my bus back to Rimini but there was no breakfast organised.

the location was great and I could easily walk to the places I wanted to see. Staff was extremely helpful with info re my departure and transport to Rimini.

Parking per day is 8 € (8am -8pm) You need to be at the parking space at 8am to buy a new parking-ticket at one of the ticket-machines. Be prepared to have coins ready. The hotel tells that they provide you a refund-ticket of 4€ per day. But the reception is closed at 8am. We did not get any refund. They tell you also that you get a 10% discount for eating at the hotel restaurant. Make sure to ask before you pay the bill. For people with a walking-handicap the many stairs and small up and down streets in the historic center are rather difficult.

Really very exceptional view from top of the hill. It is located directly in the historical center of San Marino Town, just beside the Hill station of the cable car. Parking space for own car is down at the bottom station P11 of the cable car. Or use one of the two Parking Areas on the hill. Nice and clean hotel with own restaurant, very friendly staff. Nice Food and Coffee. There are many shops and many restaurants. Absolutely worth a trip.

Certain amenities were missing from the room however we could communicate with the staff easily, if you know basic italian.

the hotel is well positioned, very close to the center. the staff is kind. unfortunately the beds are a bit old, based on springs, not very comfortable. the room is clean, but I didn't have soap and shower gel in the bathroom. disappointing breakfast, but that's pretty much everywhere in Italy :)

This was perfect for our needs. The staff are very lovely. The hotel is a bit like stepping back in time, which lends it’s own charm, but it is by no means fancy. Open the shades and savor the spectacular view. The breakfast in the morning is a happy affair abuzz with activity. Very simple rooms, but extremely clean.

there was really no downside at all!

I expected a simple small room, but got a big two-room place with a spectacular view from a balcony, max 40m from the exit of the cable car. Also the tip to park at the bottom of the cable car and the arranged parking ticket was just wonderful.

The location is very nicely located in the old town with good access to the funivia and has a beautiful view on the hills (not the sea). The staff was friendly and helpful, and the rooms were adequately equipped. The breakfast was ok but not extensive - this is not the location for continental breakfast buffets. The room had a ceiling ventilation which was ok - a climatization would have helped for cooler nights. We have had dinner in the restaurant and were fine with it (price and friendlyness). Your are in midst of the beautiful place with nice view. Access through the city is a bit strenuos but if you take the funivia, it is very easy.
