Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

DenmarkThe staff was amazing, and the place as well. A good place to visit if you want to relax and not necessarily need to be where the shops are, but they can be reached easily with a bike or by car/taxi.

AustriaOcean view, beautiful resort, right next to a quiet beach, just perfect for a short or longer stay. Most of the more busy bars were further away but if you’re in for some relaxing it’s just perfect.

United KingdomInitially we were given a deluxe double with TREE view instead of with THE SEA view! Much as I like trees, it blocked most of the beach and sea. The staff are friendly, polite and keen to ensure you have a good stay and we were offered an alternative in the same room type the next day when one became available. The rooms were nicely decorated and equipped but a couple of feedback points: Our shower did not drain and occasionally there was a very strong smell of urine. As there were no insect guard on the windows, we could not open them to vent. We had a lot of steps to reach our room so bear in mind if that might be challenging for some -one of the ground floor villas would be more suitable in that case.
Spacious room with generous balcony. We especially liked the location near the bottom of the island, quiet and away from the busier areas we saw when exploring on a hired scooter. Lovely bay and beach and well-kept gardens. The pool was a good size and a lovely temperature. Breakfast was very good indeed with different Thai hot dishes, as well as the usual eggs, bacon, sausages etc. The ladies on the scrambled eggs/ omelette station were really good, as was the fruit. The loungers were high and the cushions like gym mats. The monkeys did make a couple attempts on our belongings but gave in easily - once on a lounger on the beach! We did enjoy seeing them so closely, though. There is an elephant experience business close to the entrance gate and we met one twice when walking the lane. We enjoyed the use of the hotel kayaks. If looking for a quiet beach and a quality room with good breakfast, this is ideal and you have the option to venture further with the scooters for hire. (We recommended the old town and heading South of there for restaurants with amazing views over islands and sea.)

United KingdomThe hotel's restaurant was a bit sterile and lacking in atmosphere but there are three decent local restaurants a short walk down the beach. Rather surprised that half the guests were young families with babies / infants when the hotel had sent us a message stating that children under 3 were not permitted. Pool was smaller than it looked in the photos but swimming in the sea was great in the calm, protected bay.
Fantastic location on a beautiful quiet beach at the southern end of Ko Lanta near the National Park. Very spacious and comfortable rooms set in pretty gardens and trees surrounded by jungle. (You can occasionally see monkeys). Staff are friendly and helpful. Free kayak rentals was a bonus. Reasonable choice at breakfast. We really enjoyed our stay.

United Kingdomour deluxe sea view room (512) was spacious and. wry comfortable, with a lovely balcony overlooking the beach. however, Bea cause it was right at the end, it also (to the side) overlooked a very unattractive wall and, above that, we did experience some noise in the evening coming from the adjacent vie. otherwise perfect!
Anda Lanta is perfectly located on a beautiful beach, near to the national park but also within. easy reach of a few other restaurants and bars. the rooms have beautiful views over the beach, and the gardens are beautifully kept. Food is very good value and all of a good quality. would highly recommend!

This is my No 1 in the whole world :) The staff that is working there is just out of this world. They make you feel like you are the home so welcoming and always happy to help with anything you might need or want. They will always find a solution and accommodation in the most easy way possible. Rooms are clean very big and specious. Beds are enormous size with very comfortable matrass. I am fussy and difficult to please but this place due to its staff have 10/10 from me:) Each time we will be visiting Thailand we will definitely stay in this hotel.

United StatesToo many young children splashing, yelling and running around the pool; just being kids, but not a relaxing atmosphere at times for a couples or someone who wants peace and quiet.
The resort is on a very nice semi-private beach. The pool, rooms, dining and other facilities are conveniently located. The rooms where spacious, balconies/ patios were lovely and the food was very good. The staff was professional and very helpful.

FranceAll the services provided are pretty expensive (restaurant, massage, motorbike). The hotel is a bit isolated, for the price we payed, we were expecting to have like a free shuttle to pick us up (our other hotels provided it)
The room with the view on the beach was amazing ! The breakfast was good, the plage almost just for us and the staff was super nice.

AustraliaCocktails were expensive, and happy hour was very late - around 8:30?! One afternoon, cocktails were served in a plastic cup which was not what we expect from the high prices. Restaurant is lacklustre overall, we preferred to go to the little beach restaurant right next door. A bit out of the way (200THB trip to town). No phone in the room and no room service.
Beautiful location - true beachfront on a very quiet and pretty beach. Free kayaks for hire, we explored nearby beaches which were stunning. Pickup for snorkelling trip is from the beach so very convenient. Staff friendly and accomodating. Family room was quite spacious and comfortable. We initially had a problem with the aircon not being cold enough, a technician was sent to rectify it immediately and the aircon was cold again in about 15 minutes. Breakfast was fine - not a huge spread but there is an egg station, a couple of local dishes each day, and plenty of fresh fruit and baked goods.

United KingdomIf I had to say something it would be that the bed was a bit too hard but thats just being picky. After a day or two we got used to it and its probably better for our backs anyway.
It was the perfect escape to paradise with my daughter. The staff were so helpful and the resort beautiful on a gorgeous corner of Koh Lanta. We had the sea view villa and it was a stunning view to wake up too. There were also two great beach restuarants next to the resort, which we ate at most of the time, giving us the best of both worlds. Would highly recommend this resort for kids as the pool was a great size and family friendly. We will back again for sure!

GermanyThe only (tiny) negative: eventhough the pool was very clean its smaller then one would think going of the pictures.
great Property. Really big clean rooms, a beautiful restaurant, with a nice view of the beach, awesome staff, a nice, clean pool and a great breakfast. The Reasort held all promises and overdelivered. The Service is great, trips can be booked with the hotel, the staff is very well educated and incredibly helpful. Overall just a perfect experience.

United KingdomIt is far away/ not really walking distance to anything else but if you want a little getaway this is the perfect spot.
This place is a total escapist paradise! Secluded, private beach, and the most perfect crystal clear, calm waters every day. The staff work incredibly hard here and they really live up to Thailand’s ‘Land Of Smiles’ reputation. Food options are fantastic and delicious (including for vegetarians) along with cocktails, smoothies and coffees. We spent NYE here and they put on a lovely BBQ and fireworks/ fire spinners show. Comfortable beds and nice rooms immersed in nature (including monkeys!) with a gorgeous sea view. Would come back here in a heartbeat.

United KingdomRestaurant is lacking a bit of atmosphere although food was good.
We loved staying here as this is truly a dreamy place and perfect for relaxation. The resort is located directly on a beautiful small beach surrounded by lush vegetations. The beach is shallow and perfect for open water swims and snorkelling you can find nice corrals and colourful fish. The beach was very quiet even over Christmas. There is two other bars/ restaurants on the beach. The hotel offers free kayaks to use and we rented scooters to explore the area which was fun. The massage at the hotel was excellent. Highly recommend to get one. The rooms are very clean and beds super comfortable with nice linen. The staff is very friendly. We had a lovely stay and in fact came back to stay a extra few days!
