How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Needed a little bit of maintenance
Great location but tucked away and very quiet. Lovely staff and the rooms were kept clean every day. Laundry service at reception was fantastic.

Many Ants Facility, room are bit old Only one room key. Not ideal for traveling with friends. Afternoon is super hot because facing and exposing to the sunshine directly. Mosquitos at dining area

We wanted to experience Bangla Road again and this hotel is in the perfect location, a couple of minutes walk, but set back a bit from the main road so no noise intruded. Also a short walk to the beach. The staff were friendly and helpful. A bedside lamp was not working on checkin, but was replaced immediately by the cheerful handiman. Recommended.

You can hear everything from outside or room next to mine. One evening my room smelled of weed from the noisy guys next door.
The staff was very kind and helpful! They give water everyday and that was nice. Very close to the beach and a lot of restaurants options around. Breakfast was also nice and the ladies were very kind.

Booking.com said breakfast was included but we still had to pay for breakfast. The staff said that booking.com made a mistake. I paid because I did not wanted to argue.
The price advertised by booking .com was not that I had to pay at the desk. I booked a superior room and had to pay extra because I requested a ground floor room.

The hotel is a bit old and in need of maintenance. The electricals in the room would malfunction at times and the balcony door wouldn't close.
Great location, decent value for money. Close to Patong beach but away from the main road, so it's quieter.

Overall I was happy with the hotel and the personal. However, the wi-fi signal was not strong enough and I had to move to a specific spot to be able to use the internet ( even then it was way too slow). It would be good to provide more options for breakfast. I stayed for more than 7 nights and was over the same breakfast every day.

I only didn’t like the bed I felt like the mattress was not attached to the bed
Location is great - close to the beach (5 minutes walking) and close to cafes, bars, shopping and eateries (5 minutes walking), but because in the courtyard very quiet. The cleaning of the room was very good and stuff were very polite and welcoming. You get free bottles of water each day and towels for the beach. You can also do laundry on site. I also liked the balcony and quietness.

Key card controls the power to the room, While your away the room gets pretty hot due to no AC running. It did cool down fairly quickly ( 15 to 20-ish minutes). The Shower curtain is too short, water gets all over the bathroom floor while showering, No elevator. The alley way leading up to the hotel from the main street could use more lighting. There needs to be some signage to let people know the Hotel is there.
AWESOME location. Close to everything. Breakfast was pretty good and tasty. 24 hour front desk. Staff was pretty attentive and helpful. Room was pretty large, with a good sized refrigerator. ( would have loved a microwave for leftovers). VERY quiet for being so close to everything. No elevator but staff ready to assist with luggage Good value for the money. I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed in Standard Room. Very outdated everything, like 20+ years old. This is the only thing we didn't like.
Close to the beach - first line. The location is central. Close to the main attractions but not on the main street so it is very quiet, very clean. Friendly staff.
