How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

My bed was very hard and uncomfortable. And even if you put the "Do Not Disturb" sign on the outside of the door, the housekeeper will still knock to check and see if room service is needed.
I do like the location of the hotel, it's a short walk to Beach Road. The gym and the pool were clean and presentable. And the restaurant did not disappoint with the food that they served.

The bed was very very hard Only silence 4-5 hours per day on the street in front of hotel

The main issue that I notice was simply the one elevator for all floors. Being used by both staff and hotel guests, you'll easily find yourself waiting more than a few minutes than what you may expect. An iron and iron board would've been nice, but that's just me nitpicking. Still a wonderful and lovely hotel that I'd happily stay again.
Location is easily one of the main highlights regarding this hotel. However, once you step inside the lobby, you're greeted with lovely smiles and excellent hospitality. I honestly believe that in most hotels, the lobby staff as well as the cleanliness of the lobby sets the tone for the rest of the building. The room was excellent. TV, bed, shower, etc were in perfect working order. I had no issues at all.

I think they need to find a way to add a second elevator. one elevator is not enough.

No hot water for the shower and the water pressure is very low. I asked twice about this but nothing was done and was told luke warm is all you get. Not good enough I like a hot shower to feel clean!

Swimming pool: there is almost no sun as part of the area is covered. Some will like this though. A little bit of humidity smells in the rooms when the AC has not been turned on during the day.
Great location, not too crowded but still close to everything. Renovated hotel so everything looks good. There is a small swimming pool with long chairs around, looking nice as well.

Poor breakfast, no variability. Hard beds but sheets felt really nice. Reception speaks poor English. Noise from street till 2 a.m, ask room for upper floors. After all a okay hotel👍
Central location, easy to get anywhere. Beach, shops and restaurants near. Clean and nice looking hotel. Spacious room, cleaning daily. Small pool in the 3rd floor, no sun there.

There was sometimes a septic tank type smell after flushing the toilet
Very nice place. Staff were great and the room was clean. Bathroom was updated. Breakfast was good for under 200 BAHT ($7-8 CAD)

One minor point - rooms (facing street anyway) don't have accessible balconies.

The cleaning lady knocked on the door while I had NO DISTURB SIGN, on top of that she also wanted to start a conversation on when she could come and clean the room

Hot water pressure in the shower was rather weak. The pool is very small and shallow.
Convenient location, clean renovated facilities, pleasant and polite staff with good English skills. The room was cleaned daily and the supplies were replenished.
